ALL THE APPRECIATION THREADS!!!!
I appreciate all of you guys! Group hug!
EDIT: This is only partly sarcastic. I'd MUCH rather see appreciation threads (especially ones for people who deserve it) than "OH NOEZ OHIO!" threads.
January 13th, 2015 at 11:42 AM ^
that is disgusting, and insanely creepy
January 13th, 2015 at 11:43 AM ^
This is mesmerizing.
January 13th, 2015 at 12:28 PM ^
Hahahahaha! This is exactly how I feel after watching OSU winning the NC last night and now all these appreciation posts.
Thanks for the pick me up.
January 13th, 2015 at 11:40 AM ^
I can't come up with that many new threads but at least the rest are gone and the board is ours.
January 13th, 2015 at 11:41 AM ^
They haven't proven anything yet. Let's thank them when they start working their asses off and win us a championship. Not just for showing up.
We are done giving participation ribbons here with Harbaugh in charge.
January 13th, 2015 at 11:49 AM ^
They've proven their loyalty to Michigan. And you can't have a true team without loyalty.
January 13th, 2015 at 11:55 AM ^
You don't have to thank someone for their loyalty when you're giving them a free $100k education and the opportunity to play for a coach who made the NFC Championship Game his first three years as a professional.
This isn't Pop Warner football. Frankly, these guys are lucky that a coach as good as Harbaugh decided to honor their scholarship offers.
January 13th, 2015 at 12:06 PM ^
the point is they stayed on when others decommitted, and THEY HAD NO IDEA WHO THE COACH WOULD BE YET. Got it now?
January 13th, 2015 at 12:14 PM ^
They decided to stay committed to the winningest program in college football.
You don't think Harbaugh could have replaced every single one of them with a player ranked higher? Frankly, they should be thanking Harbaugh for his loyalty and sticking with him. He could have told them to explore other offers.

covered buddy.

lol just made a profile yesterday. I'm guessing he has been bammed once or twice before.
January 13th, 2015 at 1:02 PM ^
Just the styling of the posts makes me think this is our friend "Greeks For Harbaugh" / "Victors For Harbaugh" / "Contortionists For Harbaugh" / etc..., and yes, he has been relieved of his account a few times already for various reasons, most of them involving being rather uncivil to people and a general annoyance.

Should change user name to "Trolly Trollenstein." Oh, and get off his lawn, you damn kids! Will also invite him over the next time I'm hosting a really fun party and want everyone to go home.
Finally, after reading his third post-I'm now actively angry with those six guys for committing and staying committed. I don't want anyone stupid enough to stay enrolled without knowing who the coach will be. Give me some Cam Newton/playing for the highest bidder guys instead. At least when you buy them, they stay bought.
/s Like, really big /s
January 13th, 2015 at 12:10 PM ^
^^^^^ THIS. And, they could get a free education at any number of other institutions, yet they stayed with Michigam despite having no idea who the coach would be or what the future might bring.

Uh, "Bernstein:" did you bother to check out the "lay of the land" before you came in here and started insulting current recruits?
Maybe you should take a few weeks off and then quit altogether.
January 13th, 2015 at 12:13 PM ^
January 13th, 2015 at 12:14 PM ^
And thank you for thanking me for thanking them for proving their loyalty.
January 13th, 2015 at 3:16 PM ^
Thanks.

What banned handle do we think Bernstein is and has come back to troll the boards yet again?
January 13th, 2015 at 1:15 PM ^
From Wyoming perhaps?

I bet!

an amazing education. They won't be sorry. Go Blue!

The board today in response to OSU winnning it all is basically screaming "LALALALALA CANT HEAR YOU"
January 13th, 2015 at 11:46 AM ^
The point of the appreciation threads is to bring our attention back to Michigan, which is where it belongs.
Freaking out over other programs is not a good look. The appreciation threads may get excessive, but I think it's an appropriate counter-measure against the earlier freak-out.
January 13th, 2015 at 12:00 PM ^
and some of the topics on Page 2 really are dumb, but Ohio State just won a national title with their 3rd string QB. It's ok to discuss it a bit without trying to drown it out with random Michigan threads about nothing news-worthy
January 13th, 2015 at 12:20 PM ^
sick to see most of the front page plastered with woe is me stories.
I think this is going to push Harbaugh even harder if that is possible. Urban can probably go in to a recruits house and say that he is the best coach in college and no one can really dispute it. You can say weak B1G all you want but his record is better than Saban's. It shows even more in bowl games. I'll give him that.
The one coach who can compete with him is the guy who can go in and say he may be in the top few coaches in pro football and I know how to get you there and is loaded with coaches who have also done it there.
I'm looking forward to these wars that are coming up and think it will happen sooner than later. Save me the woe is me stories. We're going out this fall and kicking some ass.
January 13th, 2015 at 12:43 PM ^
that if it took the 3rd string QB to win the NC for osu...Urban Meyer must be a terrible judge of talent.
January 13th, 2015 at 11:43 AM ^
Brian Cole will be huge. That gives us two big time wide receivers from the state of Michigan in two straight classes. The cupboard isn't bare for Harbaugh. Now we need the Imam, Chris Clark, Wheatley JR, weber, and KLS.

That might be just to back up Ty Isaac or Drake Johnson.
Point is, RB position, we got options. A lot like when Jim was the QB in the mid 80s. I could see us throwing a wishbone look out there on 3d or 4th and short, lots of competence at the RB position.
January 13th, 2015 at 3:37 PM ^
Drake Harris is a WR.

especially the season ticket holders that have continued to pony up every year.
I think the last 7 years really have showed how dedicated the fans are to Michigan. If the football team was in the NFL, Michigan Stadium might be 1/2 empty by now.
Here's to better days. Hail.
