Channel Your Inner Brutus, Warde

There are plenty of committee members that have no love for the SEC.  Work behind the scenes, and sharpen those knives, Warde.  Let the media boast about Bama being in.  But when it’s time to vote for the Tide, plunge those knives deep and true.  For the republic knows it should be FSU.

I'd probably rather play UT or FSU than Bama but it isn't about that. Last year, after the USC loss I resigned to the fact that OSU was going to get in and deserved to. I hated it but I couldn't think of a more fair #4.

This year it would be a fuckkng travesty to leave out FSU after an undefeated season. In fact, I think someone said The ACC has the highest percentage of Bowl eligible teams in CFB. The conference wasn't a total joke or anything. To have them run the table and tell them to sit at home while a one-loss Bama jumps from 8 to 4 despite needing two miracles to beat Auburn the week before would be awful. It would show that it doesn't matter and never did with regard to 4 open spots. It would show that it was always really 2-3 spots, after The SEC gets their best in regardless. They can slip up and look like shit multiple times but as long as they win a big one against each other at the end of the gear they're in!

No. Fuck that. Imagine if for no reason but injury the media was calling for UM to be left out. Why? Preseason rankings weren't good enough? We were guessed to be 6 instead of 4 before a game was played so it turns out that despite running the table we're gonna be lect out for a team with a loss because they're in The SEC?!

It feels wrong.

Criteria 1 - conference champs
Criteria 2 - fewest losses
Criteria 3 - head to head/best team
Criteria 4 - SEC bias

1. Michigan

2. Washington

3. Alabama

4. FSU

Texas and UGA get left out.  Bama that lost in to Texas in week 2 is not the Bama that just beat UGA.

Still shit - OSU

Alabama and Texas are both conference champs with one loss.  So, it'd be down to the third criteria which would put Texas and their head to head win in over Alabama.  Since you've got Bama in and Texas out, this can't be the criteria in your list.

I think your teams are right, you've just got criteria 3 and 4 flipped.

HAB,

Texas in week 2 but Bama is better now?

Then why play the games at all?

You are what you're record is, period.

M/Wash -undefeated

Wash/M

FSU - undefeated

Texas -head to head

And...might I remind everyone that the cooler poopers took home a Natty with their 2nd and 3rd QB's.

Who is Caesar in this analogy? Saban? When has Warde been Brutus to Sabans Caesar? Also invoking the Buckeye mascot seems odd.

There’s gotta be a better stabbing analogy out there.

I suspect that the committee will not have Michigan at #1. Our offense has played like ass for the past 3 weeks. The competition has been much better over the past month obviously, but the issues with the OL are becoming very clear, and the rest of the O looks way out of sync.
