Nothing will happen. If I recall correctly, the doctor who committed these crimes is long dead, and much of not all of the OSU leadership from that period has moved on as well.

In similar news from the daily mail about those calling for disbarment.

The Michigan judge who opened up her courtroom to all of Larry Nassar's victims at his sentencing last year said she would rather quit the bench than be banned from letting those young women have their day i court.

PSU, MSU, now OSU...

WTF is going on in the B1G.

Makes me wonder about UM, and if there are things going on that are being covered up; God I hope not! Need to treat these young people with respect.

Governance is easy. Create an independent organization to protect x class. Like sapac. Sapac doesn’t care about our football record. They have a mission and are not willing to bend to the will of an athletic department. At osu and MSU, I believe people are willing to make abhorrent sacrifice to have a great football program.

This is, of course, godawful.

Here are some particularly disturbing details from the NY Times article on this, for those who didn't bother to read the link in the OP:

Athletic department personnel know about the sexual abuse since 1979, but no reports came out of the athletic department until 1996.

Once it was finally reported, the doctor was removed from his post in the athletic department but he remained a tenured faculty member. He then opened a clinic off-campus where he continued to abuse students.

At the time of his death in 2005, he was still a professor emeritus. (tOSU is considering revoking his emeritus status now, posthumously. Talk about too little too late.)

Coaches and players said they reported the abuse to athletic department officials, but nothing ever came of these complaints.

The doctor conducted genital "exams" for every medical complaint, including colds and sore throats.

Fuck you, Ohio State. Fuck you too, MSU. And you too PSU. What a cesspool.

Also from the article .

" Accusations against Strauss , who retired from OSU in 1998 and committed suicide in 2005, run the gamut. He’s been accused of groping and fondling, performing unnecessary and prolonged genital and rectal examinations (sometimes WITHOUT gloves), "

Typical Osu nastiness !

I imagine these types of cover-ups have happened or are happening in a lot of places. It's a shame how a handful of people can utterly tarnish a major institution. Hopefully this hasn't occurred here, and won't ever in the future.

Horrible behavior.  Glad the details are coming out so we can imagine this otherwise unimaginable activity and kill it wherever it occurs.
