Don Brown Interview
I dont know about you, but nothing cheers me up faster than watching a Don Brown interview.
Love this guy. He sounds very enthusiastic about this years D. He is surprised at how fast they are playing already, even faster than last years team.
Keep your eye out for Vincent Gray apparently.
Go Blue!!!
Don Brown is awesome. He’s so genuine and emotionally invested in his players and their development and performance, without being over the top.
Its being addressed he said. He knows he let the team down and will make amends, redeem himself.
He stewed on the 2017 Penn State loss for an entire year, and then proceeded to rip their hearts out through their lungs in 2018.
Here's hoping he repeats that for Ohio Sate.
captain obvious here

Too bad the PSU that he killed didn't have Moorhead. Beating fuckhead Franklin is almost a given.
Also PSU had Moorehead in 2017 but the mastermind was gone in 2018 when Brown "ripped their hearts out through their lungs"
Blazing. What’s he supposed to say?
I’m glad he’s on our side but I do think we’ll take a small step back due to losing our leaders in Chase and Devin. This would be a great year for the offense to step up and let the D find their footing. If we get production out of the RB position, we should be able to keep the D off the field.

Will he go zone?

Not likely except to trap. Press man is Don Brown.
Michigan played more zone last year than any year since Don Brown arrived.

62 and 41
Get better.

I am confident Pony can hold TUOS to 60 this year.
Sadly, that would be an improvement.

Ugh just realized that score isn't far off the TT vs UM bball score.

Are those sweatshirts for sale?

Three thoughts:
1) It seemed like he was hesitant most about Barrett, Mason, and JKP - who's apparently playing corner now.
2) He seems really, really upset about the OSU/Florida games. And seems to be taking it personally.
3) Is he standing under a light or is this man highlighting his hair?

Interior DL-improvement. DE-regress. LB-regress. Secondary-As good or better. Don best have some zone schemes up his sleeve this year. Not hating, just observations/expectations.
If you don't get pressure on the QB, it generally doesn't matter if you play mtm or zone.

I agree. The Don Brown defense; like many defenses, is built on the idea of pressuring the qb. No defense can regularly cover everyone for more than a few seconds. They've got to get the new look defensive line getting after the QB right away.

Remember when his D let up 62 points against Ohio State
Yeah...they played some zone in that game...it went poorly.

Even Benedict "26 seconds" Mattison never did that against TUOS.
Lot of expert coaches at this blog.
Somebody was quoting him before saying Brown had said he's "set in my ways". I can't remember if they said that themselves or were quoting a writer. But after watching the video, it sounds like he's saying that as some outside critic saying Brown is set in his ways.

Agreed. Context, baby!
Can’t help but love this guy. He loves football and his players.
Gosh I can’t wait for fall. Go Blue!
Amen - who would not want to give their all for this man?!
Don't get me wrong I really like the stache but this stuff is rehashed every year, nothing to see here, move along.
