Bye Felicia.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:16 PM ^
Yup. Friend in the MSU AD told me he's set to retire today. My friend hits on about 75% of the "insider" info he gives me, so take that as you may.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:18 PM ^
Man I hope this is true.
A credible source on the Edge of the Internet is actually saying that the news is Ed Warriner to be OC of MSU, but that is hasn't been confirmed yet so he's still working on confirmation.
1) Pep going to be OC at MSU--LOL.
2) MD retiring from MSU--awesome.
3) Warriner going to be OC at MSU--cry in my beer for a solid month.
And then Graham Couch tweets out just now that actually NO new blood on MSU's offensive coaching staff, just reorganizing responsibilities among the same guys. Re-arranging chairs on the deck of the Titanic so to speak....
January 10th, 2019 at 5:23 PM ^
Pretty sure my source was wrong, oh well
January 10th, 2019 at 6:09 PM ^
Correct. Deck chairs meet Titanic
January 10th, 2019 at 5:45 PM ^
I’ll leave it.
January 10th, 2019 at 6:03 PM ^
75% of what.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:22 PM ^
See ya Mork!

Big offensive staff shuffle according to Couch. Salem to OC. Warner to QB coach (look for another job)
January 10th, 2019 at 5:47 PM ^
Even though someone, somewhere, probably cares about MSU staff changes, I think a press release would more than suffice to disseminate such news.
January 10th, 2019 at 6:11 PM ^
Exactly. Since when did Mork become a prima donna. Nobody cares, bro. Do you see Harbaugh holding a press conference for staffing changes?
You went 7-6, No S#&7 you are going to make some staffing changes.
January 10th, 2019 at 7:49 PM ^
No Urbz, no Mork...I am slowly becoming less depressed about Michigan’s football future in the BIG next year.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:22 PM ^
Twitter says Gattis from Bama is coming HERE to be OC!
January 10th, 2019 at 3:25 PM ^
Fingers crossed not another Nussmeier
January 10th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
Nussmeier immediately came to my mind, too. Fingers crossed!
January 10th, 2019 at 3:25 PM ^
Even Mork is excited for us! Hope he says nice things about Josh
January 10th, 2019 at 3:27 PM ^
Would be a big addition indeed. I bet the receiver room would be ecstatic.
Would this also indicate Pep is moving on ? Maybe Pep is replacing Mork at Staee? LOL
January 10th, 2019 at 3:29 PM ^
Maybe he’s introducing Pep as his new OC. Probably thinks he really pulled one over on us with that.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:41 PM ^
You need to understand something. If this happened, I would laugh so hard and for so long that I would be committed to an insane asylum where I wouldn't even be allowed to watch college football. And I wouldn't care. Because I would know that all is right with the world beyond my four white walls.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:47 PM ^
Seems simple and obvious but your comment made me laugh out loud. Such a Sparty thing to think. Gold.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:32 PM ^
If he announced John Baxter to the MSU coaching staff, then I know the consperency is complete.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:22 PM ^
He gone!
January 10th, 2019 at 3:23 PM ^
Its happening!!!
January 10th, 2019 at 3:24 PM ^
its not
January 10th, 2019 at 3:25 PM ^
No...It did. I just had to take a dump and it happened.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:26 PM ^
Technically, it's un-happening if he's gone
January 10th, 2019 at 4:12 PM ^
I stand corrected.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:31 PM ^
Pinching one off now.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:24 PM ^
Odd time for a press conference, seeing as the season is over.
Maybe he'll retire and Pep Hamilton can take over for him?
January 10th, 2019 at 3:31 PM ^
I like the way your mind works. Mork taking a page from the OSU/Day playbook by “stealing” Pep from M!!?
(Relatively speaking our Offense WAS dynamic compared to the one in East Lansing...)
January 10th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
I am hoping they don’t fire Warner. MSU’s offense was a level below dog poo.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
We should be so lucky that MSU would take Pep off our hands.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:24 PM ^
Nothing to see here, mundane season recap look forward to next Fall
January 10th, 2019 at 3:27 PM ^
"With all the stupidity and tone deafness that has gone on at MSU over the last 2+ years, we've decided no one will actually be up in arms if we bring back Corley, Vance, and King since the Nassar thing has basically been glossed over by 75% of the University. We tried to get Robertson back too, but will wait until his trial is over...
... I'm off to Florida to golf with Warner. See ya next fall."
January 10th, 2019 at 3:28 PM ^
Retirement or big staff changes would be my guess.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:09 PM ^
I think it would be odd to have a press conference to announce departures. It seems like you would wait to announce hirings. Makes me guess this is him retiring. If he comes back he knows he will most likely end with a losing record to JH. At least now he can save face with 2-2.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:12 PM ^
Yeah, I think he's a turd but also doesn't seem like the type to throw his long time staff under the bus by holding a press conference where he's firing someone. He'd have to have replacements ready to announce. But I'm guessing he's retiring or saying he has one last year left.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:42 PM ^
Never thought about him saying he has one year left. That could very well be it. Maybe name Tressel as his coach in waiting.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:31 PM ^
Firing dogshit offensive staff and bringing in Pep as his OC
January 10th, 2019 at 3:33 PM ^
So no changes pretty much.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:35 PM ^
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd take MSU's approach of "throw fades down the sideline to our WRs all day" over whatever the hell we saw this year.
We have 3 Felton Davis type guys and at least Warner would throw up prayers to him. Now, it was because he didn't know what the fuck else to do buuuttttt...... ignore that and just focus on the "throw the ball to WRs" aspect of it.
Edit: Obviously this is some hyperbole and joking. I just really want to see guys who can run fast and jump high... run fast and jump high.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:42 PM ^
Pining for anything MSU did offensively over what Michigan did this year is a terrible, terrible take.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
Yes.
Generally speaking.
I feel dirty saying that. But like I said, throwing your hands up in the air and saying "fuck it! Throw a prayer to the 6'4" guy" would have been a welcomed sight much of this year.
January 10th, 2019 at 4:43 PM ^
You should watch from even farther away.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:36 PM ^
after months of pondering he finally has his retort to Chase's post game comments
January 10th, 2019 at 4:46 PM ^
"I'm going with Jerk Store!"
January 10th, 2019 at 3:39 PM ^
Mark is our new DL coach?
January 10th, 2019 at 3:41 PM ^
So, if people were upset with only scoring 39 against Ohio State, they must be ecstatic that we have now hired the co-architect of the Alabama offensive game plan that managed 16 points against Clemson.
January 10th, 2019 at 3:44 PM ^
Maybe Dantonio is rehiring Dan Enos. He apparently doesn't want to work at Michigan.
