You do realize the most blatant non call of the game was the 3rd and goal no call on the throw to Thomas right? That saved 4 points for NE.

Difference in the game so far....Bronco's are winning the battle in the trenches with ease. Patriots can't run right now and the DL has been pushed around with ease.
January 19th, 2014 at 4:04 PM ^
Part of that is Denver selling out to stop the run.

Title edited. Sorry if that screws anyone up.

Like I said......Denver is OWNING the trenches right now. It's not even competetive.

Big holding call. Brady may get another shot before half with good field position.

This game is frustrating to watch! NE needs to make some adjustments at halftime.

The Patriots' secondary really sucks right now. With a healthy Dennard and Talib, they're ok, but their safeties are bad in my opinion.

Vonn Miller, Kevin Vickerson, Derek Wolfe, Chris Harris Jr., Champ Bailey hurting. This is the playoffs and generally in any year a team is 'lucky' if they go through the season, postseason without significant injury! Injuries happen all over sports and affect great teams. This is a weird debate for me because of how much I enjoy TB as on of GOATs. I also was born in Denver and have been a Bronco lifer! I just see a lot of Michigan fans on here whinning about this game because things are not going well for one of our beloveds. This was a competitive game, however the Broncos dominated in all phases.

Bad use of a timeout there.

This "Omaha" crap is beyond old and just annoying at this point. God help us, it will be two weeks of moronic comments about it if Denver wins.

him how many rings Brady and Peyton have.

Patriots need the defense to step up. Denver's been controlling the clock making 3rd downs and Manning's got EXREMELY lucky a couple of floaters werent picked off.
January 19th, 2014 at 4:47 PM ^
Somewhat lucky and awful coverage by the NE corners. When you constantly fail to look back and locate the ball QBs will realize it.

Logan Ryan getting burned.

from the broncos spinning the ball after every catch is low rent

Did anyone else notice in pregame how Belichick took the wind when he won the toss for OT against the Broncos earlier this season?
January 19th, 2014 at 4:51 PM ^
The Patriots' D is getting owned right now. Brady has to play better and hit those deep passes he missed earlier, but it won't matter if their D does nothing.

January 19th, 2014 at 4:53 PM ^
NE's D is going to be exhausted. This is a devasting drive, especially if it ends in 7.

I have come to the sad conclusion that if I like a team....or....like today when I am simply rooting for a team....they absolutely MUST play soft coverage on the corners and not rush the QB.
I have absolutely no idea what it's like to have a team I'm wanting to win do anything but play "bend but don't break" defense.

Michigan Wolverines. Cleveland Browns. Pats in the playoffs.
Come to think of it, the Pats are the only palatable option for winning the league this year. Evil vs. Evil in the NFC. I don't care where Jimmy played ball, he still hypocritically talked trash about my school when in fact his club was doing the exact same thing with its players.

I just don't feel the Brady - Michigan connection as much as someone like Burke. Maybe it's the passing of time, or his role.
January 19th, 2014 at 5:19 PM ^
It may have something to do with Boston teams having so many bandwagon fans. Patriot fans are something like Penguin fans. As soon as they stop winning most of their fans will be gone.
January 19th, 2014 at 5:28 PM ^
I hate Belichick, so there's that.
January 19th, 2014 at 5:22 PM ^
You can certainly appreciate the both and their respective accomplishments, but Brady is just as much, if not more of a representative of Michigan than Burke is.
