who said Bama should be prepared for Johnny Football? So far, A&M just drove down the field and scored on Bama with ease.

TAMU is jacked. If they can keep this intensity up for the entire game, Bama is fucked.
September 14th, 2013 at 3:56 PM ^
Boulevard , LongStrange tripel.
Watching some real football now. Go Bama...I guess. Or aTm, but not Manziel, so Bama. I don't know. I just want to see better football than what I just witnessed for the last few hours.

I can't watch any games because my mind is still boggled by how bad our lines are after three years.
September 14th, 2013 at 4:03 PM ^
Not sure we've had a good O-line since 2006. That's seven years by my count.
...though I guess the D-line was pretty good in 2011.
September 14th, 2013 at 3:58 PM ^
gave me a fucking headache, so glad we luckily won. We really deserved to lose today, I'm really concerned with the defensive playcalling, why isn't Mattison being more aggressive?
Whenever we were aggressive on D, we stuffed them, fuck that passive shit, what are the opinions out there?
September 14th, 2013 at 3:59 PM ^
Hard to be aggressive when your corners are getting burned.

Ya'll looking stupid right now with Saban had months to plan for it and Bama will be prepared for it. Looks like they got caught with their pants down once again.

the thread is way premature. There is a blueprint to beat Bama both offensively and defensively.
Load up the box and stop the running game and force McCarron to beat you with his arm. Double Amari Cooper and make other WR make plays. Spread them out and go uptempo. Having a mobile QB who can throw will hurt Bama defense.
The team who is best equipped to beat Bama right now? Oregon.

Beating the shit out of Alabama 1) helps keep those bastards out of the NC picture, and 2) helps make Texas even less relevant.
September 14th, 2013 at 4:04 PM ^
...I'm not sure Texas needs any help on #2.

Texas' greed and mistreatment of its B12 conference partners for years is arguably the factor most directly responsible for the realignment fiesta we had recently. LHN made A&M mad enough to bolt for the SEC. Nebraska was fed up being stuck in the B12 North. Colorado and Missouri bolted for similar reasons. They don't share revenue equally in the B12 the way we do in the B10.
