I love seeing solid plays, like good passes by Denard, and good runs. But I'd also like to see the mistakes. The bad reads, bad throws, fumbles, missed assignments. Just to see where we are. But that's just me.

Did you not see the Denard fumble and run?
April 10th, 2012 at 10:47 PM ^
That was not an error, it was the ol' fumbleruski play. It is the latest wrinkle in gorgeous Al's unstoppable offense.

Right. How do you think we were able to run it to perfection during the UTL game? And are you forgetting Denard's first colleigate snap? lol
April 10th, 2012 at 11:06 PM ^
Yes I did, but the reason they showed that is because of the run he had after. I would just like to see some mistakes that we make, that is all.

You're missing the idea of "highlights"

I knew my spelling of "fumbleruski" looked funny. Thank you for the correction: I was apparently referring to the less popular Russian variant of the play, rather than the more widely accepted American version and spelling.

Broken plays are very dangerous with a kid like this...

before.

The only good thing Mike Patrick has ever contributed to the sports world is that line.

I... I was there. Row 41 pretty much right above where he ran into the endzone. So beautiful.

Looks to me like that video is sped up just a tad. Could be what you're seeing.
...30 rows (right) behind me that day.

If Denard ever got a bounce that lucky in a game, holy crap he's gone.
April 10th, 2012 at 11:45 PM ^
EDIT: I guess I'm late, but hell... watch it again!!
...and if someone else posts the video again, I'll watch it some more!
April 12th, 2012 at 10:36 PM ^
The thing that pisses me off about that video is that Craig James put Pryor in the same class, speed-wise, as Denard. That's just wrong.
EDIT: Well, in one of the videos of that run he does. The two posted here end before he starts talking about Pryor. Maybe the WH version. Idk, but I rememeber hearing it.

I really think Jerald Robinson is gonna have a good year, Roundtree looked pretty fast in that video too.
April 10th, 2012 at 10:26 PM ^
He just scooped that ball up with no effort whatsoever... and he looks noticeably faster this year than he was last year. I would definitely like to see more defensive highlights, though. At least we got to see Roundtree making some impact finally.

Is #14 Griese? jk
Coach Hoke looks very intense in today's video. Safeties need to tighten up over the top better.
April 10th, 2012 at 10:32 PM ^
Denard's really throwing a nice looking ball. Good mechanics, and he's stepping into the throws. Also, he looks to be seeing the field better, going through his read progressions, etc.
Also, love the intensity of Coach Hoke.

Bolden looks like Jake Ryan 2.0 with that extension.
That must be new because I don't think he had those in the earlier videos.

These videos are better than sex. Okay maybe not but they are pretty damn sweet for football addicts like myself.
April 10th, 2012 at 10:52 PM ^
These videos tend to be 1.5 to 4 minutes long, which sounds about right...

Jeez look at the marathon man over here.
April 11th, 2012 at 12:04 AM ^
Is it safe? Is i... what? Oh... the OTHER kind of Marathon Man. Got it.
April 10th, 2012 at 11:24 PM ^
It's funny you say that, because since this video was so short, I was expecting it to end with "watch the full video and more for only $3.99 per month."
Whoever ths QB14 is, he looked great on that one pass he threw. I'd take him over that Denrad character anyday.
The real question is, how did he look at WR?
Jack Kennedy has the #14 jersey last I looked.
I may be late to the party...but anyone notice the gold (maize) shoelaces?
April 11th, 2012 at 10:06 AM ^
Hadn't noticed, but they are a nice touch. Hope they carry over to the game uniforms as well.
They're fun for practice, but let's keep them there...
The cleats look like they belong to Iowa. They're black and gold. I'd rather see blue cleats/laces before I see black cleats and maize laces.
Countess made a nice open-field play on Denard after that fumble and run.
