Buckeye Nature Film Trailer
So I posted this in another thread, but thought that there's just too much win in this for it not to be shared far and wide. There is apparently a film coming out that chronicles four days in the Buckeye wilderness. It seems like a brilliant work of trolling, but I believe the intention is actually to demonstrate how passionate their fans are.
Suffer through about a minute of ohio hype film and be rewarded with the most tremendous, couldn't have trolled better myself, and irony-free, celebration of cooler-pooping! Without further ado, I give you the trailer for, "Across the Field!"
So the bar I used to manage was at 1:07. Big dance club on the OSU campus. This video is a bit overstated. There was a lot of belligerence down there, as there is on most campuses, but I never saw anything to that extent.
/apologist tendencies
But that video makes me wish I owned an Uzi and that certain laws didn't exist.
Buckeye fans are by far the MOST obnoxious in the land, but in terms of craziness, I have two words for them.
Why did I watch that?
I don't ever wanna hear how your life is hard cause of MSU fans, these people are freaking nuts. LMAO Ohio is straight crazy.
Why did you put that on here? Why? I know you were trying to use it to show how stupid and crazy OSU fans are, but still, why? I think I'm going to be sick...
Note to self if ever in Columbus on a Saturday, stock up on mace, brass knuckles, and antiseptic.
Isn't there an ever better video on youtube, where tsiO fans surround people in UM garb and start chanting "You suck d**k" or You're an a**hole" Watched that one awhile back and generally smiled when I thought to myself, that it takes an entire group of buckeye fans to put two 3-word sentences together.
I get a black, blank box where I suspect other people can see some movie. That happens frequently on this site but not elsewhere. What's the format you're using?
Never had a problem with the site.
Most famously used in the "Dawn of Man" scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey, when apes learn to use tools and begin to evolve.
The unintentional comedy watching the hominids in Across The Field and thinking of this scene is overwhelming.
But the spectacle of these two things is directly inverse. "Dawn of Man" shows the species beginning to slowly evolve, "Across the Field" shows that the Darwin Awards, exist for a reason!!!
*loads shotgun, aims at Columbus*
That attempt at glorifying that shit hole failed miserably. It looked like an old east german commy propaganda film, with the 2nd world architecture and citizens rioting for a loaf of bread. I did get a kick out of the mouth breather about 1/2 way through. Too bad Michigan dont negative recruit.
Keg stand, security pushing a drunk down, riot police, shirtless bros fighting on the lawn, car fires, drunk shirtless bros falling off a car. Is this supposed to be a positive documentary for them?
Sure, there's some hyperbole ("best damn fans in the land"), but find me anything that portrays one of the fanbases that both sides can go, "Yep, that's us/them."
And full credit to Hermosa Blue for pointing out how Ohio celebrates their devolution.
