Justin Turner sighting-Scottsdale, AZ
This probably doesn't warrant its own tread but what the hell, it's a slow day on the board.
I just ran into Justin Turner at the bank here in Scottsdale, AZ. He came in rockin' a UM Football Addidas shirt. I gave him a big "Go Blue" while thinking to myself, "man, I've seen this guy somewhere before." Sure nuff, I then spotted his badass UM tatoo on his forearm.
I asked if it was him and he affirmed. We shook hands and I gave him my best wishes. He looked like he was in great shape, I really hope things work out for him in the long run. He was my favorite recruit by far from his class, I hope we see him wrecking receivers in the near future. We could have really used that guy, I was shocked at his size. He's no T Rich or Boo Boo, I'll say that much.
It's pretty clear he still bleeds maize n blue. He seemed happy they won last week after I mentioned our epic victory.
Maybe I'll get out to catch a game of his at Scottsdale CC this year. He'll always be a Wolverine in my book, even though he never played a snap in the big house :( Go Blue!!

I appreciate the update. I would also wish him well and hope that he can get back into D-I ball.
Were you able to spot a Scottsdale CC mascot tatoo on him? The Fighting Artichokes?

I mean, what the hell? Why not name your community college nickname something outlandish like the "Fighting Artichokes"? This is fantastic. I may go online to buy some SCC merch right now. This mocks every random nickname that add "Fighting" as a prefix to artifically conflate the bad-assness of their college. Well done, SCC. I hope you and Justin Turner both thrive!

That's very random but very cool. Thanks for sharing. I also hope he succeeds wherever he goes.

Seriously though - if Dorsey and Turner had both made it here and panned out as they were projected to, we would have the best defensive backfield in the Big Ten. Kovacs would still be there, Woolfolk would start at FS and those two guys would be our CBs.
Damn.

Your absolutely right, and if William Campbell would have stayed at UM he would be the best D-Lineman in the Big Ten.

I'm actually going to scottsdale cc. I saw him the first day of school but wasn't sure if that was him and didn't wanna be "that guy." He seemed cool enough but I didn't wanna bother him

Since Utah state's volleyball announcer posted here regarding some Utah state issue, iirc.

I noticed this earlier in the week but don't have enough points to start a post. J.T. Turner is in the Rivals Juco Top 50 coming in at #39. It doesn't list any schools...it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
