ESPN Denard Fluff Article
It can never hurt to hear more good things about Denard. This one coming from the Worldwide Leader...
"He’s completing a high percentage," Borges said. "He has no trouble making any of the throws. That’s what probably has been my biggest surprise. He can throw darn near anything you throw out. Now because he’s not the tallest kid, you’ve got to get him in position where he can see those throws. But in terms of arm strength, that’s a non-issue.”

This is a good thing, I see lots of roll outs to improve Denards vision, if receivers are covered he runs.

That diagram is missing the TE running a flag. Name the TE "Tuman" if you really want to bring back happy memories.

too many roll-outs because then you take away half the field

done right it puts Denard 1 on 1 with a Linebacker or there is someone wide open. I like those odds.

ill be excited to see the first game how denard reacts on that first play that breaks down..
Will he take off for 50+ yards or will he try to stand in the pocket and try to prove he can throw the ball like last year

Or perhaps he'll take off at Dilithium speed, while keeping his eyes downfield (I just can't bring myself to add "and his head on a swivel"). Perhaps just before crossing the LOS he'll float one to an incredibly wide open receiver who will then score.

Gosh I hope he runs. I wanna see him hit 2000 yards this year, solely on broken plays. I just hope he doesn't slip on the tears of broken defenders as he glides byl.

Denard's arm strength was never a question. The main problem he had was not being able to really fit the ball into coverage. Most of his completions were due to mismatches caused by the spread.
Can Borges cause a lot of mismatches within the flow of the WCO? If so, Denard could have another monster statistical year, with more of the yardage coming from passes. If Denard has improved enough to throw to receivers who are barely open and give them a reasonable chance to catch the ball, he could surprise as many people this year as he did last year.
Denard is positive, he shows up every day with a great attitude, and he works his ass off. I'm not going to even think of saying he can't learn how to do everything required. Most QB's improve between their first year starting and their second year; Denard should be no exception. I can remember when a Michigan QB used to sit on the bench two or three years before sniffing the job; Denard started his second year in the program.
Denard has already exceeded expectations. It would be foolish to say he can't exceed them again. I'm not saying it's a lock, but I would certainly never bet against him.

I was really impressed with his arm strength during his freshman year. Only trouble was, every deep pass he threw that year was intercepted. Last year, that went down significantly but many of his deep balls were overthrown.
I still get a little nervous when he throws deep. But he's certainly improved.

If you added an "er" to the third word in that title, this board would be in full-on meltdown mode.

How far in the gutter does your mind have to be to notice that...? I'm not judging, just wondering.

Were you looking for me to assess a numerical value upon it or something?

I cant wait to get to actually see this dual threat god out on the field and not just in articles.
