Hearing fans of schools like…

Hearing fans of schools like OSU, Bama, UGA, etc. talk about us having a tainted or illegitimate Natty as if they haven't been fans of schools that have cheated their way to relevancy for the past 2 decades will never not amuse me. They have zero self awareness

The reaction has been such a…

The reaction has been such a horrible look for MSU fans and they’re still completely convinced they’re in the right

I've beat this drum before,…

I've beat this drum before, but please watch Gach's Hudl highlights. He finishes blocks to a comical degree and I love it

@Seth, Mangham is another Groves kid

Can we please not make …

Can we please not make "Potential Portal Prospect" posts a trend? That would be such a slippery slope on this board of everyone posting random people in the portal that the staff isn't even pursuing

This might be a stupid…

This might be a stupid question, but for the future state of revenue sharing, would every team receive an equal amount of revenue? Or is it distributed by viewership? And from there is it distributed to players evenly?

Feels like a guy like that…

Feels like a guy like that is gonna go to a bigger name school to get starter minutes then go the draft

I find the Khani Rooths…

I find the Khani Rooths recruitment so odd. On paper, it should be a slam dunk. Rooths was committed to Michigan, his main recruiter at his other finalist just got hired by Michigan, and we have a need at that 3/4 spot. I guess I could see him maybe wanting more NIL, but I feel like being like "hey, we have a lot of one and done seniors on this roster and you'll make up for it next year" is fine way to alleviate that unless he's decided to wait on the bag from some other school

Deone Walker is the…

Deone Walker is the exception to the rule

Sam loves to claim that NIL…

Sam loves to claim that NIL wasn’t a factor with every recruit. Not sure why he can’t call a spade, a spade

I'm not sure how bringing in…

I'm not sure how bringing in Barham would impact freshmen and RS freshmen leaving. Especially since, if the practice reports are true, I don't see how he sticks around after this year

Gotta think either 1 of 2…

Gotta think either 1 of 2 things is happening:

  • Players don't like BJM and/or want to play for someone who actually recruited them
  • Cole Sullivan is dominating in practice the point where these guys don't see any point in sticking around
I think Sam said last week…

I think Sam said last week that we lead for that Kent St DL

I think Bridgeman was a…

I think Bridgeman was a George Helow recruit so we're now 2 LB coaches later. I do wonder how much of this is related to the Cole Sullivan hype

Seems like some people have…

Seems like some people have been kinda hinting at that this may happen for a few weeks...

Didn't he grade out…

Didn't he grade out extremely well against the run this year? I think it's more just that he didn't put up elite numbers. The Jets just signed him as an UDFA and I think that's a great spot for him. I think if he had come back, this would've been a breakout season for him. He does things that don't show up on the stat sheet, has been on an upward trajectory since his injury, and still has upside. Say what you want about the Jets, but Saleh always gets the best out his DL and develops dudes

Sam and Seth have made it…

Sam and Seth have made it pretty clear that apparently UK has been lying to recruits about NIL so he may not be getting that money…

Given that we have a need…

Given that we have a need for a big WR and for depth at CB, he kinda feels like an ideal option if he wanted to come back

I don't see any way where…

I don't see any way where Barrett, Henderson, and Jones aren't drafted. Barrett was too productive on the best defense in the country to go undrafted. Henderson was one of the top guards in last years draft then came here, played tackle and didn't perform as well. He projects as an NFL guard. Jones didn't play much, but performed well on the largest stage. I think teams will see upside there

The main issue for me is I…

The main issue for me is I have no god damned idea who is on the team and who isn’t anymore

And I think that's very fair and why some people are losing their college fandom a bit. You used to be able to logically follow the depth chart and see who would likely be starting year over year, but now you have to worry about tampering, players maybe not being satisfied with their NIL, players seeking even slightly more playing time, etc. and it's just hard to be mentally invested

I know people are on edge…

I know people are on edge right now before the deadline, but the Beasley and Herring entrances aren't that concerning imo. We see transfers like this every season. Waller sucks though

I know people are on edge,…

I know people are on edge, but besides the Waller portal entry, the Beasley and Herring entrances aren't that concerning. Beasley is a true freshman who maybe just wanted to go somewhere else and Herring is a sophomore at a very deep position

Giving players who demand…

Giving players who demand more money what they want is a slippery slope

Kentucky has their NIL game…

Kentucky has their NIL game humming because they had infrastructure already in place to pay players in basketball prior to NIL

They are getting NIL. They…

They are getting NIL. They’re getting tampered with and demanding more money

Heavy tampering, insane NIL…

Heavy tampering, insane NIL offers, and rostered guys asking for more money

If it’s due to coaching…

If it’s due to coaching change or seeing a long way to playing time, then fine. Hopefully the NIL rumors floating around aren’t true

Complaining about NIL when…

Complaining about NIL when he hasn't even won the starting job or seen meaningful snaps is... something. But if that was such a big deal for him even after we were his best offer, he won a Natty his freshman year, and he was in the mix to start this year, then good riddance. He easily would've gotten that NIL this year if he continued how he's been playing

If a Missouri kid has Mizzou…

If a Missouri kid has Mizzou in his final schools, he's probably going there at this point. The state of Missouri has pretty blatantly unconstitutional NIL laws in place to keep players in state

By all accounts he’s been…

By all accounts he’s been neck and neck with Hill

Kentucky is the oddest thorn…

If true, Kentucky is the oddest thorn in our side. Not in our conference and not relevant in their own conference. In a few years they might have a former Michigan player, signee, or commit starting at every position group besides safety

A change of scenery from…

A change of scenery from being in a two way race for a starting job being "best?" Yeah, no

If I had to guess he got an…

If I had to guess he got an NIL offer from somewhere else plus a guaranteed starting job? But yeah, this is a shocker. I guess it's officially Jyaire Hill time

We were in on him, but not…

We were in on him, but not sure we "almost" got him

The actual rule is, "this is…

The actual rule is, "this is the rule at the time, but if at a later point we decide that it was created in error, those who suffer from it will be excused."

By this logic, Michigan should immediately have any and all punishment from the Stalions scandal dropped since the NCAA is implementing helmet coms and we know that won't happen

So will the NCAA repeal our…

So will the NCAA repeal our punishments once they implement helmet comms? Because to me, once you start repealing punishments from the past due to recent rules implementations, that's a slippery slope

If you enjoy tenacious run…

If you enjoy tenacious run blocking to an almost hilarious degree, watch Gach's Hudl highlights

This has literally already…

This has literally already started. The funny thing is that OSU fans still think that not offering someone Michigan wants or having another player higher on their board is a flex

Meanwhile, FAU SG Johnell…

Meanwhile, FAU SG Johnell Davis is seemingly between Kentucky and Arkansas.

I've noticed with Bama in football as well, but it's odd to me that for both Bama and UK, two perennial recruiting powers in their sports who lost their famous head coaches, that recruits have seemingly forgotten that Saban and Calipari aren't there anymore? Like are their brands that good that recruits don't care?

Hoping we can move Jace to…

Hoping we can move Jace to being a walk on and bring back in Rooths

Watching his highlights had…

Watching his highlights had me thinking "Wow, there's a lot to like here and once he goes through Camp Sander... oh wait sigh"

I'm not counting my eggs…

I'm not counting my eggs before they've hatched. We have multiple sophomore transfer commits at this point and I'm not gonna assume admissions has accepted their credits until these guys are officially announced

I mean you can’t have it…

I mean you can’t have it both ways though. Harbaugh leaving with the whole defensive staff would likely mean that any punishment from the NCAA is going to be nothing because the apparent involved parties are gone

The defensive staff was…

The defensive staff was literally just finished in the past few weeks and it’s like a year until signing day

It will never fail to amaze…

It will never fail to amaze me at what things people can needlessly bring politics into

Genuinely curious (and maybe…

Genuinely curious (and maybe naive): Why would you expect that?

Because fraternities and greek life are divisive topics generally speaking

I know there’s inevitably…

I know there’s inevitably going to be negative comments on this thread about Dusty going to visit frats, but anyone who has complained about how bad the Maize Rage has been recently (and they would be correct), should be very excited about this. Getting the support and attendance of greek life at basketball games will do wonders for attendance and the energy at basketball games and it’s great that Dusty understands this

The thing that's refreshing…

The thing that's refreshing about May that we didn't see with Juwan is that I can see the vision of the team he's putting together
