I doubt anyone was watching my Leafies take on the Devils last week. I was almost asleep when Mitchie Marner made an obscene move. Stick handled the puck though his legs twice before shooting! The Devils' announcers were impressed. "We need a name for that move. If the lacrosse move is called, 'The Michigan', maybe that move should be called, "The Ohio State'! Noooooooooo! I nearly threw my mug at the TV
Love the analogy XM. The first date my wife and I went on was a dairy cattle auction at Brubachers' Sales Arena in Guelph, Ontario.
As a former large animal veterinarian, I do have a question for you. You said that your animals are unvaccinated, yet, you're purchasing livestock at auction. Am I missing something here?
I'm a USA Hockey Level 4 coach and have to agree with Alex about the analytics as a ticket to higher levels of coaching. Hockey is a much smaller pond that basketball or football (also a frozen pond), so there are much fewer opportunities to move up. The best example of someone who did move up is John Cooper. Started as a part time coach at a Catholic H.S. in Lansing and slowly worked his way through Junior ranks to minor professional ranks and eventually to the 'Chell.
Love this summary XM! We have a lot in common. I'm a former large animal veterinarian who grew up on a dairy farm. My daughter is an African American hockey player (Pioneer high school).
I'm fascinated by your experiences as an African American hockey player and as someone farming in the North. My father used to use the term "heat units" at least 4 or 5 times a day
100% agree Jimmy. It's completely unnecessary. The best hockey in the world is Olympic Hockey (especially when Canada wins gold) and there's no fighting
Endorsing vitamins is a positive? Don't waste your money at the GNC store, just eat a healthy, well balanced diet. At least, that's what they taught me in medical school
Very nice piece. One question for the board: If JH brought the Super Bowl trophy to Ann Arbor would you care? I wouldn't cross the street for a Charges Super Bowl trophy.
I-L-L baby! My oldest is a H.S senior, loved our tour in Champaign last fall but wants to stay closer to Ann Arbor. Good luck with that was our response!
Former large animal veterinarian here. Thoroughly enjoyed the crop and livestock update! As my dairy farmer father liked to say, "August is the best month to be a farmer!"
Thanks for that detailed overview. Looking forward to seeing the bros together! As far as not getting drafted, I don't think it would be interview related. Recruiting sites have him at 5'9 which means he's probably 5'8. Awfully tough to play defense in the Chell at that height unless you have the offensive skills of a Quinn Hughes or Cale Makar
I just called over to the AAUM and they said that they have not processed all the packages yet. I was in line by 8:15 and I still haven't heard about my ND-SD package either.
They fill all the 2 game packages first. The only way to get a single game is if there are tickets left over after ALL of the packages have been filled.

How many goals would my man Auston Matthews have this season
if Zack was still on his left wing?

Don't sleep on the Islanders. I just hope Patty Roy doesn't fight Alex Lyon tonight! Lyon is a bit fragile
That is sweet! I drive a white 323e but I have a feeling that plate is not available in Michigan!
Also, his papa is an M.D. and M.D.'s have been known to throw that word around
Thanks for clarifying. Now that he's jettisoned Aaron Rodgers I will give him a listen

They're nervous about Sheronne's recruiting. As they should be

And we are much better off with Sherrone!
It makes no sense that Livonia doesn't give out letters for women's hockey. FWIW their team just beat our Pioneer squad twice in the past 3 weeks!
Second best school in the B1G!

I have 2 for Rutgers on the 40 yard line (about 40 rows up) that I would like to sell or exchange for 4 crappier seats.

Vegas has more U of M connections. McCrimmon's boss, George McPhee lived here for the years in between his stint as Caps GM and Vegas GM.
He spent time on the ice at Yost as my assistant coach! His daughter and my daughter were teammates on a U10 team!
