Damn RIP Obi! Sad day. He is from Grand Rapids where I’m from, a lot of friends played against him and went to school and knew him. I worked at a gym he worked out at and once he forgot a pair of shorts there, I kept them in the lost and found but he never came back so I rocked his number 45 team issued shorts for s while to play bball in. Great guy and a great wolverine, R.I.P. obi

Guys I know this is petty in the moment but will someone go update his Wikipedia picture. I tried but can’t, he was a goin linebacker and by all accounts a good person. As a grand rapidian who ran in sometimes similiar circles I’d love to see a proud image of Obi when searching for him

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the soul of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Life is short … I’m lucky to be here. RIP young man

Terrible tragedy for all involved. What's with former athletes dying in their mid-30's? I guess Death is a better tackler then poor Obi.  RIP, Mr. Ezeh.

Sad to hear. He was one of Lloyd's recruits who then played D for three different DCs in 3 years. Started as a FB too. It's bad enough seeing people near my age (60) passing on, much less Craig, Darius, and Obi.
