Said another way... "Not a lot of solid players at any position with little depth at every position" - All you need to know about this team and Juwans roster construction. Just awful.
There are a number of reasons that the situations aren't similar... to name a few:
1. Juwan's has not proved that he can build a competitive roster. As others have noted, this team just doesn't fit together.
2. He does not have the type of track record that Harbaugh has. This isn't just one bad season- they also missed the tournament last season and significantly unperformed expectations in the regular season of 2022. They are also Dead MF'ing Last in the conference. That should never happen at Michigan. He has destroyed everything JB built in basically 2 years.
3. Juwan seems to have anger issues/self discipline- Telling Mark Turgeon "I'll kill you!", the infamous smacking of another coach in the face, supposedly challenging his own strength coach to a fist fight in front of his team and having that coach leave the program. Any one of those things could get you fired - he's had plenty of chances.
I am sure there are many other reasons fans are ready to dump Juwan - these are just the first few that come to mind for me.
I am bummed that Juwan didn’t work out but you just can’t have violence as a feature of your personality and keep a job. In any profession really, you can’t be in leadership and punch competitors/colleagues in the face.
I’ve seen it mentioned/hinted at other places that there is an (unnamed) LB that is hurt and preserving a redshirt for this year- assuming it’s Rolder? He played a ton of meaningful snaps last year and it would make sense that if he’s hurt he’s sitting out. Based on what we saw as a true freshman, I’d expect him to start next year or be heavily involved.
It’s not a fake kneel down because none of the other action in the play is a kneel. Starting with the formation being non traditional for a kneel down, then the reaction of the running back, add in several players out in a pattern with no delay/hesitation. Yes the quarterback looks to be faking a knee but he’s just not a professional actor and this is his attempt to sell a run.

I was old enough and wise enough at 21 years old to google this offer and saw it was a scam. They sent me a physical check with the direction of “cash this check, keep 500 as your first payment and send the rest back in cash”.
College students aren’t little kids- they can work through this.

Plymouth Garden Inn by Hilton?
I can’t vouch for the rooms but their first floor bathroom is kept very clean. It’s also in a good location so you can walk by the front desk on the way in but can avoid it on the way out.
I was fit for 923 Forged Mizuno Irons at Miles of Golf on 3/26. Absolutely loved the feel and the data showed the best ball speed most consistency.
They told me about 3-4 weeks lead time and now we are over 5 weeks. Not Miles fault, but it stinks. The Irons were $1400 and I tend to play a lot of golf early in the year and in the fall (just because the summer gets busy with other things). So a bummer that I've missed over 10 rounds already. Hoping to hear something from them this week.

I think what Seth is saying is that many people are blaming the Dante Moore to Oregon "situation" on NIL. According to may insider types it wasn't just about NIL/Money. Apparently part of the issue was lack of attention to his recruitment from Harbaugh and concerns over Jim's commitment to the program- A big part of Dante's recruitment occurred when Jim was looking at NFL Jobs.
Dante was a Detroit kid that trained with Devin Gardner. Even with that, Michigan wasn't his "dream school". He wanted to be recruited hard. And many insiders are saying Michigan and specifically Jim- didn't do enough to show their interest.

On your actual idea- I appreciate your optimism but IMO we don’t have enough money to make a dent. This site raises about 50k for a preview magazine. To think we could get to 20k for an annual NIL deal would be unlikely. Then spread that around 3 or 4 ways and it’s just not a lot of money to the athletes. We would be better off using the MGO community to raise money for a food bank or toy drive once a year. Again, just one man’s thoughts.
I spent a couple years in Boston- my number one suggestion is spend a few hours in the north end. Start at Hanover Street and walk to the end- its about a 10 min walk. You will pass tons of cool restaurants, shops, and the "Old North Church" which is where Paul Revere started his midnight ride. Walk back on Salem street.
This is the "little Italy" of Boston- nearly every restaurant is fantastic and the neighborhood is so unique and beautiful.
I think you are referring to Daniel Faalele. He was huge and had major recruiting interest from the blue chip schools (Michigan, bama, etc).
His buzz kind of wore off toward the end of the recruiting cycle and he ended up at Minnesota. He played a ton of football there and is likely to get drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round this year.

I spent a couple years in Boston- my number one suggestion is spend a few hours in the north end. Start at Hanover Street and walk to the end- its about a 10 min walk. You will pass tons of cool restaurants, shops, and the "Old North Church" which is where Paul Revere started his midnight ride. Walk back on Salem street.
This is the "little Italy" of Boston- nearly every restaurant is fantastic and the neighborhood is so unique and beautiful.
I think you are referring to Daniel Faalele. He was huge and had major recruiting interest from the blue chip schools (Michigan, bama, etc).
His buzz kind of wore off toward the end of the recruiting cycle and he ended up at Minnesota. He played a ton of football there and is likely to get drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round this year.
