I laughed way too hard at this. Bluey makes tv time with the kids so much better.

I don't think Herbstreit is leaving GameDay and the article mentions he will still be calling games for ESPN/ABC. GameDay duties seem most up in the air.

Wouldn't be taxes at the entity level, but whoever has that income passed through to them would be taxed on it...

It’s an advance of a 2020 refundable tax credit. It does get reassessed when you file your 2020 return, but only as a possible increase to a refund, none of it has to be paid back and you aren’t taxed on it. Source - I’m a CPA.

Seems like a good thread to drop a small tidbit from the CARES Act for those considering giving some to charity. One of the provisions in the act grants taxpayers an above-the-line deduction of $300 for contributions given to qualifying charities. Meaning you will not have to itemize deductions in order to get it.

See my response above, actually won't be taxed on it!

It'll actually be considered…

It'll actually be considered an advance tax credit from 2020 and not taxable income. When you file your 2020 returns the credit will be reassessed and could go up, if your situation has changed for the worse. Meaning maybe based on your 2019 return you didn't qualify for all or a portion of the payment, but based on 2020 numbers you qualify for the full amount, you would then get the difference included in your 2020 refund. But it won't go the other way, so there's no worry about anyone having to pay anything back if they ended up making more in 2020.

As a CPA usually at the tail end of busy season when this game is played, I'll take April 18th! Hoping the weather cooperates and this can be my kids' first Big House experience!

6 B1G teams in the top 25 and two more in the "others receiving votes" section. Conference play might get a little crazy....

I can understand if you just don't like the "clap snap" in general. But to chalk it up as another idiotic thing about the Michigan offense specifically and use it as a reason for why it isn't working, is just a lazy take. 7 of the Top 10 teams in the country use some variation of the clap for their snap count (Alabama, OSU, Clemson, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Auburn and Georgia). There are some pretty prolific offenses in that group.

As a soon to be parent and huge football fan, I've gone back and forth on the whole tackle football thing. Personally, I played some sort of football from kindergarten through high school, but I didn't start tackle football until I was in 7th grade. Prior to that it was exclusively flag, because that was all my school offered at the time. I used to always think I missed out on some years of "real" football from having to play flag for so long, but now I think this is the exact route I would want my kids to take. I just have a hard time finding the benefits that tackle football has over flag football at that young of an age.

RP Diet

I bought the RP templates over the winter, but didn't actually start until this week. My advice would be to definitely try it out, especially if you're someone like me. I've always struggled with the diet aspect of exercise and fitness, specifically with knowing what and how much to eat, and just overall getting bored with foods. But the templates are nice in that it lays out the macros for each meal and provides a guidline for how to space everything out. I obivously haven't had a ton of experience with it, but so far it's been going better than any diet I've ever tried to stick to.

At the end of Rage Stripping

Is that Baxter in the background who can do nothing but stare, stunned and motionless, at what's going on in front of him? That look might put that gif even more over the top for me.

Not CrossFit

This definitely looks like a back injury waiting to happen, but it's also not CrossFit either, even though the flashing words at the bottom are very convincing.

Balcony was the location that came up when I signed into my account. There wasn't a stated price for them, they're just asking for donations to ChadTough for whatever amount you're willing to give.

I was a first year season

I was a first year season ticket holder this past season and received the invite. I'm thinking it went out to all season ticket holders and from there was first come, first served until they were all given out.

I was sent an email invite

I was sent an email invite yesterday for it. I'm assuming it was sent to all season ticket holders. All I had to do was sign into my account and choose how many tickets I wanted. All they're asking for are donations to The ChadTough Foundation, which I'd obviously be glad to donate to even if there weren't any tickets involved.

Come on, man!

You're giving people who joined this week a bad name.
