since when did your job become to be part of the press conference? grandstanding at a coaches press conference is tacky at best. drew sharp must be your hero.
is it like a requirement to say 'like' 40 times per like podcast? like brian and the like minions like say like like 500 times per podcast. it's like so 90's like of you.
then you need to get a life. bitching about this is bitching just to bitch. maybe kovacs wanted this? ever think of that? really dude, it's a number we are talking about. a number.
Yeah, everyone is getting way ahead of themselves praising Gardner when his performance seemed split about 50/50 between yakety sax (but good!) and receivers bailing Gardner out on balls they have no business catching.
after scoring 35 points with the backup qb you not only crap all over said qb but the receivers as well? i doubt you would have that type of reaction if denard played with the same results.
i think denard sits and devin gets the majority of snaps at qb with bellomy getting a few. devin has one rushing and one passing td. only 10-15 pass attempts total. UM runs for 300+ yards with fitz getting 120+ and rawls 80+. norfleet finally busts a kickoff for a TD.
first, i am a vikings fan. growing up in the 70's i watched the vikes on tv play outside at the met in the snow and freezing cold. as a kid, it was one of my fondest sports memories. the purple people eaters destroying opposing teams in the rain, mud, snow and cold. now, they play in that glorified roller rink and it sucks. at least i will get a couple years of them playing at the new gophers stadium while they build another indoor stadium.
second, the tony boles injury. i thought boles was the most talented running back ever at michigan. a great career ruined by that turf.
explain why hoke was so disappointed in the oline play and was adamant about fitz not being at fault. the interior 3 of the oline are not playing well right now and i think schofield is a better guard than tackle. no other choices this year. have to roll with what we have and hope they figure it out.
we would have many more decommits without the policy than we do with the policy. IMO, the policy prevents most kids from visiting other schools. you'll always have exceptions. hopefully, he sees through urban's sleaze.
once denard exited stage left IMO was caused by the inability to get anything going on the ground with the backs. the line didn't block well with the run or picking up blitzes, the wr's dropped passes AND bellomy seemed like a freshman in his first day of going to high school. you can't ask a kid to have to pass 2 of every 3 downs because you get nothing on the ground.
is the fact that it has happened twice the past 3 weeks. odds are it is something that will happen again givent hat denard has his hands on the ball every play. get devin a small package of plays he is comfortable with so you can at least have a fighting chance.
i think it is pretty obvious that they have tried it in practice and it has not gone well. they aren't going to come out and say denard can't handle audibles but i think that has to be the case.
waiting for brian to tell you what questions to ask at the next press conference? maybe you should just record brian asking the question and play it to the coaches. i hope brian buys you flowers on secretary's day.
why do you hate me? because i call you out for asking an occasional dumb question? it's ok for you to question coaches but we can't question your questions? get a grip dude.
section 118 on the 10 yard line of the michigan sideline. not a really good game to watch. brady barely played. henson did ok. the game ended on a 4th down defensive stop deep in our territory.
in this game was not taking what the defense was giving them by using the bubble/laser screen. we used it the first 3 games. it's easy to see it's a wide open play. you'd figure someone in the box must have seen it.
i say heiko ask borges next time and complete the circle of hate.
to a bubble or laser or whatever the hell you want to call it when teams give you that kind of look defensively. the question is why don't they check to it? that might be a good question for the next borges presser, if you want heiko banned for life.
borges and denard aren't the only guys at fault here. on the smith INT, i think barnum should have pulled out in front of smith. that way, Te'o is at least slowed down and smith has an easy throw to dileo. Lots of line issues the first half. much better in the 2nd half though.
is at fault for asking his senior qb to make good decisions with the ball? ok, i got it now. as for the HB pass, when is the right time to call it? it was open. smith, much like denard, is a senior that borges trusts to make the right play and eat it or throw it away if he's pressured.
borges came out in the 2nd half stuck to the ground game. what happened? denard fumbled. is that borges fault too? is it borges fault denard took 2 straight sacks and gibbons missed a fg?
borges is not perfect but i can't fault him for trusting his senior qb to make good decisions.
seriously dude. you are like a freaking 2 year old. people talking 'shit' about denard? he turned it over 5 times. what do you expect people to say? listening to these 2 assclowns is like a broken record.
also, you get on everyone for talking about denard but then you call the wr's 'total crap'? you are a total hypocrite. talk about denard not even giving gardner a shot to catch the ball inbounds on a CB 4 inches shorter and then getting him injured in the process. hypocrite.
as bad as you make it out to be. the third int i will give you. but you know what, denard should eat it then. take the sack. the other two were terrible throws/decisions.
borges called a beautiful drive until smith threw the first int.and another great drive to start the 2nd half but denard fumbled it away. you are not objective at all when it comes to denard. he stunk on ice saturday. all borges is doing is asking a frigging senior QB to actually make decent decisions in the passing game.
it's the easy thing to do since saying anything bad about denard is illegal in these parts. the halfback pass was wide open. smith, also a senior, made a bad decision. the other 3 int's were terrible decisions on denards part. he wasn't pressured much at all on the first int. the throwing lane was wide open and he threw it right at 2 nd players. the gardner slant was a terrible throw. again, not nearly the pressure you describe. te'o is barely near him and coming in low. the throwing lane was wide open. the 3rd int, there was a good amount of pressure. but you know what, don't throw the damn ball. eat it.
in the 3rd quarter, borges went to running all the way down the field. how did that end? denard fumbled. is that borges fault too?
when tate had 5 turnovers against osu in '09, who did you blame? tate. a freshman qb. you didn't blame calvin mcgee. why? you love denard. nothing is ever his fault.
our defense was actually pretty good on 1st & 2nd down but jesus, they converted every 3rd and long it seemed. if they get off the field half the time it's a blowout.

got worked in this game. easy to see why we can't run the ball when our center and guards are manhandled.

is the minnesota QB. again, love jake but any decent defensive player should blow that up when being blocked by a QB.

final score
michigan - 34
minnesota - 13
i hate this dump for 2 reasons.
first, i am a vikings fan. growing up in the 70's i watched the vikes on tv play outside at the met in the snow and freezing cold. as a kid, it was one of my fondest sports memories. the purple people eaters destroying opposing teams in the rain, mud, snow and cold. now, they play in that glorified roller rink and it sucks. at least i will get a couple years of them playing at the new gophers stadium while they build another indoor stadium.

how on earth is that not a penalty in the first minute of the video? the guy is literally on gallon's back as he catches the ball.
What’s the distinction between a wide receiver running a route and setting a pick?
“Next question. Next question.”

shows the character of a coach that cares more about wins than his players health. he should be punished by the school and/or the league.

put anyone else in
martinez can limp around and play but denard can't at least try to go? gve me a break.

seriously Keiko?
love hoke.
are not allowed in MANBALLville
the B1G network won't switch to another game with a whole quarter left like abc did saturday.
is no doubt the worst playoff manager i've seen. completely out managed by bochy.
and we handed them 7 points off the late first half turnover. mattison has them going now.
did you get a weight for Taco?

can't go wrong with dumb and dumber humor
i have looked all over for that pullover coach hoke is wearing. anyone have an idea where i can get one online? thanks.
at that size now, he can compete for time right away if he adds 10+ lbs.
taco had some huge numbers last week. do you have a legit weight on him? thanks.

also made a terrible throw on the play where devin was injured. he didn't even give him a chance to catch the ball. can we blame that on borges too?
blaming denard for anything is not an option with brian unfortunately.
brady had the headset on and i don't think he was happy witht he pace of the offense. he kept winding his arm like he wanted a more up tempo offense.
as bad as you make it out to be. the third int i will give you. but you know what, denard should eat it then. take the sack. the other two were terrible throws/decisions.

fffff
+10000000
if you can't be objective then just re-name the site denardgoblog

starts all over again in 2 weeks. luckily, the rest of the league is as flawed as we are.
denard stunk and cost UM the game. borges can't get blamed for bad throws, holding the ball way too long and fumbling.
not everything is borges fault
this is a senior qb just throwing the ball up for grabs
golson is a RS freshman. our senior is playing like crap
but did borges make those terrible throws
our defense was actually pretty good on 1st & 2nd down but jesus, they converted every 3rd and long it seemed. if they get off the field half the time it's a blowout.
