Just spoke with 4 guys at my club tonight who are huge wolverines (grads) supporters who all said they have stopped visiting site due to incredibly boring soccer coverage... that has nothing to do with mighiigan sports. 3 guys drafted in nba draft and more than half of the site is dedicated to a eurosport that few in america give a rat's behind about. Please don't tell me how the site is free as advertisers make that point moot. We visit site to read about UM sports...not to read about watching grass grow or paint dry...which is the equivalent of soccer. For those few who care about soccer...sorry...but you are in the minority no matter how much you protest.

I see...so if someone has a differing opinion it is ok to critcize them for it so long as you are the one doing the criticizing. I just do not believe world cup soccer is relevant to this forum.
Please stop dedicating coverage of the euro sport known as futball. We like real football in this country and prefer coverage of anything about "football" than coverage of what one would consider the most exciting of "futbal" games...which are the equivalent of watching paint dry.
Has anyone stopped to think that Hoke's only good year was with Rich Rods guys and offense and it has been downhill ever since? Not that I was a Rich Rod fan...he had to go...but Hoke is on the same path taking the program down. If Borges isn't gone then Hoke and all of them should go. How hard is it for opponents to stop us when my buddies and I are calling the plays before we run them from the stands?

This is a Michigan sports blog...not a WCS or world wide sports blog. I love the site...just don't see the relevance to Michigan sports.
BTW...you overstate the popularity of soccer in the US.

How many recruits are still remaining from the Rich Rod classes...including his recruits from the year he was relieved of his duties.
