The first one!!  A golden haze of superlative fortune follows him everywhere and will enshroud the Game on Saturday.

The analysis here is pretty simple:

My kid is the luckiest guy on earth.

This is his first OSU game.

Michigan wins.

If Michigan looks bad today…

If Michigan looks bad today with Livers out, and Michigan can't give the Committee a reassurance that he will be back, not sure the Committee will still give them a #1 seed -- could bump them down like Cincy and Kenyon Martin 99-00'.

Jerry Palm at CBS still has…

Jerry Palm at CBS still has Loyola as a 10 seed!  Insanity, or group "herding" is at work here just as with polls that all strive to be similar.

Loyola is #9 in Kenpom, #10 in the NCAA net ratings, #12 in Torvik, and #18 in the AP poll.

They are going to be at least a #6 seed, and the 100 bracketologists at bracketmatrix.com who have them as a 8 or 9 seed have no clue what they are talking about.

Great takes as usual Brian,…

Great takes as usual Brian, and Seth the tear on Underwood was magnificent.  Kofi himself was a top-10 KPOY just a while back, will see if Franz and Hunter can stop Kofi from taking their crowns.

Ace, you have it wrong on…

Ace, Underwood is referring to Michigan not playing the original game as scheduled.

As you know, on the night when the Illini-Michigan game was originally scheduled, Michigan's WBB played that night and thus the men could have too, but the B1G let Michigan pick and choose when the game was going to be played.

While you argue the women needed to play because of "pressure" but the men did not need to play because of "safety", let's just say that reasoning is not iron clad to others in the B1G.  Or perhaps another way to put it is that UM got to pick and choose whether to play, and the women chose yes and the men chose no.
