I've always wondered about this but never really cared to look. I know it probably takes a lot of time beforehand to get things planned and moving in a larger business like dominoes but I don't remember seeing any of the new advertising until after he was AD. I know he was still involved a little after becoming AD as well so I'm sure he had a hand in it but curious how much.
This is why laws like FERPA are soo important in order to protect students. At the end of the day, this has no effect on my life and I shouldn't know about it. However, Gibbons' life has been destroyed, deserved or maybe not.
If he forced himseIf on this girl, go ahead and cut off his balls but it feels like (to me) all the evidence needs to be there first. If it was a drunken hookup with someone willing to file a police report after, he deserves to be expelled but not have that information made public to everyone.
I served on a Grand Jury before and the one thing that I think was not stressed enough was that indicting a person gives them a huge black mark they can't get rid of. The USADA had no problem bringing up how he would not bring someone before the grand jury without doing his due diligence but not the serious nature of an indictment.
It does make me extremely happy IF the AD wasn't made aware of this investigation until December. It's good to think the AD isn't all knowing and powerful.
Not only that - you have to have the right connections and right personality to fit the school. Mack Brown lasted so long because he was great at bringing in big money and smoozing doners to keep them happy. Dantonio does not seem capable of doing that.
Dantonio works at msu because he's got that grumpy, us against them mentality the whole school does and it's not a high profile job where he has to kiss ass all day. Honestly msu winning double digit games every year is probably bad for his job security because as the program grows, expectations rise, people pumping in money start to expect certain things and then if you have a couple 7 - 8 wins seasons you're gone.
Yeah I just don't think Hoke would change the call. I'm trying not to be my neighbor who wanted Hoke fired before the season because he's not a coach - just a recruiter
I had a good friend who was a high school exchange student and they come to the US on an F-1 Visa, which is limited to a max 12 months. He has to return home for his junior year but shouldn't have a problem coming back for his senior year and then its a whole different animal for College.

I was once punched in the face by a lesbian in a bar parking lot. I walked away and punched my friend through a car window because he was laughing at me so hard.
I really want one player to just knock out a ref for a missed call - I realize the refs have there own system to hold them accountable but a public reprimand or better yet a beat down would make me feel better (and my feelings are all that matters amirite)
Why not change some of the student section into a recent alumni section (4yrs out)? Keep the ticket prices the same and tie it to the HAIL program in order to qualify for tickets. This would put an actual incentive to get points as part of HAIL and not lose the intensity the student section provides.

Hoke wearing a headset means absolutely nothing! This shit is on Hoke but wearing headset has nothing to do with it
Heavy Breathing
Play sound defense again and we have this!
Here we go Defense!
Easy - we're going to score at least three this inning
Well why not fake a punt inside your own 10. Chris Peterson just took your man card.
Go Blue!
What happened to the whole just kick the ball out of the endzone routine?
There's the Tommy Rees I love!
I'm on edge enough as it is, don't know if I can handle much more of that this early
Enough Lou Holtz, let's go already!
Everyone is missing the point here - Recruits love Mac n Cheese! Michigan has to do this in order to keep recruiting at the current pace!
WE'LL SEE YOU SUNDAY NIGHT!
Yeah I really wouldn't want that to happen, especially if it was something similar to what happened to this guy:
