They're at 3rd and Mass NE. (Assuming you're still in DC) Great selection, great prices, and good advice from the liquor manager.
I was asking which I should choose as a gift for my dad's 60th birthday: an 18 year or 16 year that spent for years in a zinfandel cask. His answer was to have me taste both.
Could do Colonel EH Taylor small batch bourbon. It's pretty fantastic.
You have a three seater with you and two offspring. If you want to use the PWC with one or both, you put the children in front of you with the bracelet on your wrist. I've seen that approach a lot growing up on Lake Huron; viable option.
Other option is to weigh the gas tanks on the pontoon boat, take several pics of exactly how it's tied up (are the dock lines flaked?) and then use the pontoon boat. Fill the tanks back up with 93 octane until they weigh the same and then deny all knowledge of any discrepancy.
I've been working on my scotch knowledge for a handful of years now and wouldn't mind actually getting smart on it. Might help me branch out from my comfort zone of Speysides.
I can't recall when it was, but I think it was in the second quarter; Ezeh was in a on a tackle on 1st down, solo tackle the next play, and on 3rd down batted down the pass. He totally came to play and deserves the week off from bashing.
I should have been more clear in my original post. My argument is that an intentional grounding should be treated as a sack. A loss of down, distance, and the clock runs. Otherwise the offense gains something they wouldn't otherwise have had if they'd gotten sacked.
I totally agree that bringing a variety of blitzes would help out our defense greatly. However, and please correct me if I'm wrong, hasn't one of Gerg's themes been conservative playcalling? He isn't exaclty known for his blitzes, right? At this point I'm great with the gamble of blitzing and hoping we get useful pressure as opposed to bend-fatigue-plastic deformation-break defense.
I think BG was calling for 4 down lineman because he feels that our D line would be a greater source of strength as opposed to our linebacking corp or our defensive backs. I don't think he's saying that three down linemen can't work, just that one should play to their strengths.
I never even heard of it during my time on campus. It wasn't until I cross paths with someone who graduated the year ahead of me in Portland, OR that I learned the game. I then played the next time I was in AA and wondered what rock I lived under during undergrad.
I'm going to a wedding this Saturday where the service is at 2 and the reception is at 5. That means that I get the first half before the reception starts. I'm also planning on taking a leave of absence from the reception if it's close in the 4th quarter (which I am expecting to do). Either way, I too object to fall weddings. To make matters worse, the two people getting married are both U of M alums, but I'm quite certain that they don't even know that it's football season.
I went to a U of M / WMU game in K-zoo while I was in school and they were handing out "Black Out" shirts with I think "Fox Sports" sponsorship on it. I'm sure someone would be willing to pay to have their advertising worn by 109k+ people. Are we willing to "sell out" like that? I'd be OK with it if that meant having a very well coordinated color scheme.
As a note, I do realize the difference in magnitude between a hockey arena and the Big House.
Let's just hope he's more successful than Snidely was in his dastardly deeds. Also, does this mean that Rocko Khoury and David Moosman got in his way last year?
And I didn't even get a sideways look when I asked for "8008135". Then again there are tons of vanity plates around here and there only appears to be one person on the road who ever got what I was going for. Him giving me the thumbs up was totally worth it.
Will you be at the Thirsty Lion? For my one season out there that was a great venue. It was also before BTN had been picked up by Comcast, so my options were limited. But it was a great time nonetheless.
"I'll dive in more deeply later tonight and get you some hard numbers, but here's an overview of what I've found so far." I think the OP is aware of potentially misleading numbers. IMO, this was a little something for us to chew on during the work day, which is appreciated. Maybe it was meant as a teaser for the in depth follow up. I wouldn't know, I'm not a content generator, I am merely a consumer.
I wonder what everyone's reaction will be next year around this time when they suffer a drop of a few hundred MGoPoints in the same day due to the expiration of "PosBang Orgy 2010" points.
It's the College of Engineering with its own departments. You have to meet criteria to transfer in to it from LSA, unlike switching departments. Not getting elitist, just clarifying.
Maybe I wasn't quite clear enough. The first times put forward for these things by the vendors were during the game, which I poo-pooed. Everything has been schedule to not conflict with the game so I will get/have to take part in the tasting and evaluations and still get to watch everything from pre- to post-game coverage.

Plus one to you, sir, for your consistency between threads and making your reply work to both. It's a great reference, to boot.
I'm samesies! OMG!
A double IPA from a local micro brew. If you're in NOVA, I suggest you check out Mad Fox. Worth your time.
Thank you very much. I will look in to procuring these.

But I believe I owe this piece of knowledge to the MGoBoard from some time over summer. Either that or wikipedia.
Those most be Buckeye children. I heard Krampus is Brutus' cousin.

I'm really hoping this is a reference to "Earnest Goes to Jail" because that would make my evening.

+1 for your avatar. Growing up my dad had to learn to do a "Grover" voice, which was awesome when he'd read "Resting Places". http://www.amazon.com/Lovable-Grovers-Resting-Places-Pictureback/dp/039…
I'd like a to a SFW pic from Boat Night.
It's hard to miss "landmarks" from one's hometown.
Why do you have the Huron lightship as your avatar? Are you from PoHo?
of penii. That's my favorite way to pluralize it.

Were you going for the play on words?

+1 for the use of "wackadoos"
Please reference The Knowledge's season review. I believe it's the Broncos we'll be seeing in the NC game.

That's what she said.
Please don't take me to the pickle farm.
I wish they'd bring that show back

Iron Man. Iron Man, does whatever an Iron can.

I hate having to take the next shot with my pants down. Especially when I on a hole by the road.
I'm hooked on a feeling.

+1 to you for the comforting picture at the top of your link. It did make me feel better.

that if we have a good line we can have a "strategic advantage"?
Is there a way to tally the total number of points doled out in this thread?
and don't recall this scene. I was also rather drunk and possibly not paying attention/left my seat.

Never heard it before and not sure exactly what it means, but I like it.
I like how thoroughly his starts, specifically his weight, are listed:
Weight: 205 lb (93 kg; 14 st 9 lb)
In case someone out there still uses stones.
