Fine, there's clearly a toxic culture with michigan football since we're the only program that loses transfers and we'll never be any good and we're significantly inferior to Alabama, OSU, Clemson, Oklahoma, etc. and have not a chance in the world to ever get better... you're right JPC! lol, you must not pay much attention to college football outside of Michigan. Transferring is the norm now. It's happening to every team. If Martin is transferring he clearly sees little path to playing time which means younger guys have passed him. Getting worked up about this seems silly.

I use the same app and have had the same level of success. For me it's all about being aware of calories in so being able to reliably track it and to be accountable is key.
Do you think Harbaugh is actively refusing the commitment of 4 & 5 star guys and only accepting 3 stars? That's what your argument sounds like. I see it as, unfortunately, with recent history against OSU and the Rich Rod, Hoke years. Michigan is not in a position where they can realistically get a class full of 4-5 stars.
Make a roux using equal parts butter and flour (example: 1/4 cup butter & 1/4 cup flour). Melt butter in saucepan then whisk in flour. A wet sand consistency will result. Let cook for a minute until roux turns a slight brown color. Then slowly whisk in the liquid portion of the drippings from whatever you are cooking, turkey, ham etc. (using a fat separator works best but you can just let the drippings sit and skim off the fat from the top and use the liquid portion). If you need more liquid use a chicken or beef stock depending on the type of gravy you are making to get to the consistency you desire.
I don't share a similar opinion that Michigan "should" be recruiting a top 5 or 3 class every year. "40 year decision" is a legitimate recruiting tool for some kids but location, weather, academic requirements, lack of recent success against rivals, Rich Rod/Hoke years etc. all put Michigan at a top 10 recruiting finish high end goal for me. I don't and won't expect top 3.
The staff isn't actively turning away 4 and 5 stars to get 3 stars! That's what you are acting like is happening. Again, every Michigan fan would be thrilled to have an Alabama level recruiting class every year. Duh.
I'm just hopeful it isn't Solomon. I know he had the appendectomy, but it has been a strangely quiet off season for him. I have absolutely no inside info, but something just feels odd there. Obviously he's a huge piece to the defense and a starter, but there may be other factors outside of playing time that would lead to a transfer.
The obnoxious thing about blueys posts to me is that he says the same things/ brings up the same points every damn day. Obviously everyone wishes Michigan's recruiting mirrored Ohio State's or Alabama's... duh. But most people, by nature, don't enjoy being beaten over the head with negative news every-single-day, especially when there literally is nothing we as fans can do to change it. That's why he comes across as a troll.

The transfer culture has changed significantly over the last couple years. Pretending this is only a michigan phenomenon is ignorant.

That is the next level research I've come to expect from Mgoblog! If that's the case, then I agree, it would be surprising/ unlikely.
