Sorry, but I personally like a tough basketball game. You are not a true basketball fan if you think this game was blown by the refs. Michigan players cannot shoot. Plain and simple. This team is not good, and has no chance in the tourney. And, I love how some people say "if only we had Livers!" like he is Kobe Bryant or something. Fact is, Beilein left because he knew this wasn't going to be a good team, and his stock was at the highest. I am looking forward to Howard bringing in some of his recruits, because these guys just stink.

Absolutely. UM basketball reminds me of a football team that can't run the football. There offense (Z in particular) is very one dimensional and predictable. He played well with greater talent on the floor, but this team is too young for him to succeed. He just isn't talented enough. He is a great ball handler, and a phenomenal leader, but that is only a small part of the game. You also have to be a great shooter. I really don't even care if his defense struggles. He just has to shoot better.
Simpson is only a good ball handler. That is it. He can't shoot, and even his passing has regressed this year. Great kid, but not a great player. Just because a player is a great handler, doesn't mean he is meant to start. He did have an awesome supporting group around him last year and in 2017. That is the only reason he is on the floor right now.
Absolutely. And, we have to give credit to OSU for recruiting well in those positions. If you look back at the last several games, Michigan has been unable to run the ball against OSU, and have also been unable to stop the OSU run game. It really isn't that difficult to understand that the best lineman make even average skill players much better. The problem is, how do we recruit those good lineman? That is the million dollar question. How do you get those kids to want to come to Michigan. I don't know that it is going to happen under Harbaugh, but I really have no idea. Even the kids that are recruited under Harbaugh don't seem to play well. Look at Rashan Gary last year vs OSU. How many pressures did he have?? Lol. Some coaches just seem to be able to get a lot out of their players, and it doesn't seem that Harbaugh has that ability. Hell, Dantonio consistently did better with less talent. There is something going on with the entitled culture that is going on with Michigan. Hopefully it gets resolved.
Well, at this point I think most Michigan fans are just worried that the results we are seeing will not be enough to beat OSU. I think if Michigan beats OSU this year, then everyone will be happy with this entire year. Yeah the Penn State game hurts, but they looked good losing. I wasn’t impressed with anything I saw from the offense today. However, if they beat OSU, I don’t care what they looked like against Maryland.
