That is bizarre. Although

That is bizarre. Although hockey is a more expensive sport, they probably get more than $100k revenue for each home game. I'm sure there still is a small profit there.

Didn't you accuse me of being

Didn't you accuse me of being a troll?!?

Michigan isn't going to have the same surplus for this year. It will be considerably less.

Better crowd support at games. People having the ability to post pictures to social media in real time.

That's true, but there are

That's true, but there are exactly zero Women's Sports that make money. Men's Sports account for all of the operating revenue.

Familiar with how that works?

Also, they still haven't

Also, they still haven't installed Wifi in Michigan Stadium. That is something that should have been done already, and would be a much better use for the money.

I'd support whatever it takes

I'd support whatever it takes to bring the band to all away games. Also, they're eventually going to have to start giving players a stipend which will eat away at bottom lines.

Agreed.

They should return some to the shareholders.

Are personal attacks toward new members an accepted practice here?!?

Well for example the AD

Well for example the AD solicited donations for the band in Dallas a couple years ago. I'd much rather see that paid for out of AD funds. Bringing the band to important away games is a lot more beneficial than funding Women's Water Polo.

Do you disagree with my

Do you disagree with my stance? I'm not saying, "Down with Women's Sports!1!!", just that the football team profits twice as much as it costs. That could do some beautiful things keeping it in the program.

Think of how awesome the football program could be if it didn't have to support so many Women's Sports.

Does anyone know if it's typical for a recruit to make a two day visit somewhere that they have marginal interest in?

Spirit has used risque marketing for a while now.

Apparently it works pretty well for their target audience.

They fly to Lima Peru and a couple different locations in Columbia. I'm sure they've added other locations since I last checked.

Right now is a great time to travel to S. America with the incredibly strong dollar and everything tanking pretty hard down there. Also Europe, with the US Dollar being pretty much the same as the Euro.

I understand having a brief

I understand having a brief discussion about options, but does anyone actually care who the starter will be at this point?

Yep, and even on Spirit I

Yep, and even on Spirit I have no problem paying the $3 for a Pop and can of Pringles. Still saves a bunch.

I've used Spirit maybe 4

I've used Spirit maybe 4 times, and it's actually been fantastic all but once. They have some great cheap flights to South America that are like $400 cheaper than the next option.

Considering how much the major airlines are gouging customers nowadays, I love the fact that Spirit is around to keep them honest.
