I think we may have been watching different games. Patterson made a few good throws but missed a lot of reads/open receivers and was inaccurate on many throws. Not to mention the fumbles. I'm hoping it's due to the injury and he can rebound. But he did have issues with decision making last year too. If it's not because of injury the QB position is a problem.
There is a better chance of Bo being on that sideline next season than Chip Kelly. His next stop will be New England, but hopefully it's not for a while.
Molk is playing because the Eagles have lost 10 players on the oline, including the starting and back up center, because of injury. When asked about Molk Kelly said "he's not Kelce".
For the poster above he has been far from dominant.
I love Molk, I think he was one of the best centers Michigan has had. It's to bad he delt with injuries.
He's played Ok so far. He got blown up his first two games, but has played better. I love Molk, but he's not big enough for the nfl. If there weren't so many injuries on the oline he probably doesn't make the team.
Carr, and his ego, are in fact one of the main reasons RR failed. Carr, and his lackeys, also have blood on their hands for the hiring of Hoke and current situation.
It makes me sick how he is considered a figure head at Michigan and represents everything currently wrong with the program.
Ego.
So are the fans supposed to give blind loyalty to a football team on its way to one of the worst seasons in Michigan history, after getting worse each of the last three seasons?
Do you think Brandon and/or Hoke would be fired if the stadium was full and they were still losing games?
Where was this "support the team" during the RR era?
I like it better than a full boycott, because you are still going to the game and supporting the players.
But why limit it to the students? Everyone should do it.
Actually Miles may have been the coach if Martin was sailing and Harbaugh may have been the coach if people could have kept their mouths shut.
The only reason Hoke has a job is because of the ego of those in charge of the Michigan program and the so called "Michigan Man" mentality.
I'm not even sure what the hell that means anymore anyway. Does it mean you want what's best for the program? Does it mean to act with integrity? Does it mean you were part of Lloyd Carr's staff or a football player during his tenure?
Ego is the reason neither Miles nor Harbaugh are coaching at Michigan. Lloyd Carr's ego couldn't handle Miles, Lloyd Carr's lackeys couldn't handle RR and Brandon's ego can't handle Harbaugh.
When I hear the former players come out and defend Hoke it says to me they are ok with losing. These are the ego's that are responsible for where we are now.
The current players are already taking a hit. They are 2-3 this year and 4-9 over the last 13 games. They haven't been competitive in the three loses against arguably average teams (I think ND is way over rated).
We have seen the same mistakes on the field over and over again, which include mental errors, poor clock management and ineffective schemes (punt formation).
When the former players come out and say Hoke is a good coach they may as well say the current players aren't good. This is year four for Hoke, if he is such a good coach then the players must not be good. What other explanation is there?
If he was successful he would also be competent, and if he was competent the situation would not have occurred.
RichRod was not successful at Michigan; however, he was competent and put the health and safety of the players first. When his job was on the line he removed Denard for an entire half at the threat of a possible concussion.
I didn't understand why people were even considering him as an option, because of the allegations stated in the si article.
I think it's pretty obvious this isn't a highly desirable job.
He is one of the culprits’ responsible for the current stat of the program. He undermined RR by basically telling most of the team to transfer, and I'm sure he had something to do with hiring Hoke.
The fact that he is allowed anywhere near the program, let alone paraded around like a figure head, should tell us everything we need to know about the people in charge.
It’s pretty clear to me pride and ego run the program.
Damn it, if only Jeff Casteel would have gotten on that plane!
I had almost forgotten about Dymonte Thomas. We never heard from him after that punt block in the first game. He was a stud coming out of high school. Hopefully he and the coaches can figure out how to get him on the field and contributing this year.
That would be freaking awesome! However, I'd be shocked if Wiggins didn't go one or two. There was a leaked 76ers draft sheet a couple of months ago that had them taking McGary and Robinson in the second round. Not likley to happen now, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Sixers tried to get a third first round pick to get McGary. They need a four to play with Noel at the five.
Do the coahes wait on offering some kids because of academics and concern about getting through admissions?
I can't see talent being the reason Fitzpatrick wasn't offered sooner, but would make sense if the coaches were doing their homework to make sure he can get into school.
Not renewing and/or buying tickets from the athletic department is really the only way for fans to have their opinion voice heard from those that matter. I would argue those that are giving up their season tickets are a bigger fan than those who are afraid to (because they may not get them back).
I applaud the fans who are giving up their seats because they are unhappy with the direction of the program. If the Big House is full and DB is getting his attendance and advertising money why is there a reason to make a change?
DB is a businessman, and I believe the almighty dollar is the number one factor behind his decisions.
I think Gardner would absolutely destroy defenses if they went 4 wide. If the defense goes man he should be able to run all over. If they go zone Gallon and Dileo could find soft spots with Funch and Cresson over the top.
One concern I have, and it keeps popping up, is Gardner getting confused by coverage. I think he is having a lot of trouble reading the coverage.
B Hoke can recruit with the best of them and I believe is an over good head coach. However, he made a poor hire in Borges. I believe good coaches adapt to the players they have. Borges is incapable of doing so.

This is great, thanks!
Yes please!
That is all.
His response should be "come on, you NFL reporters know no one ever leaves the NFL for college".
Had to sign in just to up vote. WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Senior said he didn't pressure Junior to choose Michigan, it was completely his choice.

Hypocrite. Look it up in a dictionary.
I suggest you find a new school to AD. Michigan will be fine without you. Have a happy life...

Hard to believe that was 7 years ago.

The secondary could be absolutely sick next year.

I wasn't implying poor grades with Fitzpatrick. It was more of a general question of the staff's approach overall.
Didn't realize he had an Stanford offer. Based on that offer I'm sure academics are not an issue.

IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!!!!!
Ace, what happened to the recruiting rankings?

Not one question about sheme or Borges. What a joke.
Anyone know how much tickets will cost?
Does anyone know where Brian gets the Kenpom lines from? Does he calculate himself or is that a subscriber feature?
