The bracket strangely leaked on ESPNU. Wonder if someone is gonna lose their job in the graphics department because now there's no reason to watch the 7pm selection show.

The NCAA officially posted the bracket on their site once it leaked.

Michigan (21-11) is an 8 seed and will face 9 Kansas State in the NCAA Albany Regional First Round in Louisville, KY. That game will take place on Friday at 2:30pm.

This is just the program's 8th all-time NCAA Tournament bid and the 3rd under head coach Kim Barnes Arico. We went to the tournament her first year but went to the WNIT every year from 2014-2017 including the program's first-ever championship banner in the 2017 WNIT.

Since then Michigan has been to nothing but NCAA Tournaments. Congratulations to the team and the seniors. This is no small feat with our history. Only the 3rd instance in history that we've made back-to-back trips to the big dance.

Michigan is an 8 seed for the 4th time ever. The Wolverines are 2-1 against 9 seeds, having won the last two meetings with one with the last being in 2013 over Villanova.

Should beat Kansas St. we have better wins than them. They swept Texas and that’s pretty much it. Not that we have the best resume but I believe we have more quality wins. But it’s gonna be two and done at best for us. Louisville is very tough. Gotta get off the 8-9 line to have a realistic chance at getting to a Sweet 16.

This should be their 3rd NCAA in a row—they were completely screwed by the selection committee the year they won the NIT.

I’m happy they made it but isn’t it better for them to make the NIT instead? At least they have a realistic shot at winning the whole thing. In the NCAA tourney they have zero chance at the sweet 16. The program needs to take the next step now and shoot for a 3-6 seed on a consistent basis. A big ten title would go a long way as well. I think they are very close
