Still found it really interesting how with the exception of Kansas, all the bluebloods struggled this year. Kentucky and Duke didn't even make the tournament, and for Duke that's nigh unheard of.

Even for the excuse of "all these one and dones didn't have the necessary time to get together and gel because of COVID," I don't buy that it makes them bad enough to not even make the tournament. Their talent alone shouldn't been enough to carry them to at least a 10-11 seed or something.

I agree. Somewhat on-topic, here's a look at Coach K's mediocre coaching tree:

As long as the "bluebloods" can keep purchasing one-and-dones, they should be able to recover well next year.

Bluebloods struggling in college basketball has definitely helped me throw last year's poor football results in the trash.  Obviously looking for like, serious improvement this year, but the year clearly took a toll on a lot of talented teams in both football (LSU and FSU as well) and basketball.

Our esteemed mod Rob F said it well:  If Thursday's games were "Play Ins" to get into the tourney field - then they didn't get in.  Sucks for them...

Can't say it enough - Fuck them, their whiny troll of a coach, and their pathetic underachieving team of zeros.

Seeing Izzo get into it with one of his players at the half and seeing the mounting frustration he seems to have as a result of not getting a second title, I am starting to wonder if he isn’t slipping into the Bobby Knight danger zone.  Not that I expect to see a chair flying, but he seems more than a little stressed out a lot of the time and his methods may no longer be working so well.
