I didn't see this posted (apologies if it has) but it's getting a lot of national attention from the likes of Rex Chapman and others on Twitter:

M was down 4 seconds going into the last leg with Ziyah Holman (freshman) anchoring but she came back and won.  If I remember correctly, this was/is Hunter Dickinson's girlfriend.

Pretty awesome, but even more so that it's representing Michigan.  GO BLUE!

So, hypothetically, a Dickinson/Holman son would be a tall, fast super athlete?

Imma spend the next couple minutes thinking about a UM version of Randy Moss.

Damn! That deserved a bigger crowd.  That's a hell of an anchor.  She was at a completely different speed than everyone else for the entirety of both laps.

Young lady comes from a great family in the DMV - Amazing person.  Two-time Athlete of the year for Track and Field.  Oh yeah - and if you are a fan of Michigan sports, watching this video will get to you.  Won't be the last time we hear from here in a big way.  May qualify for Olympics soon.  Lot of heart.  Go Blue, Ziyah

I did a quick bit of googling.

They had her anchor split at 51.79 seconds.
2016 8th qualifier for the US Olympic team was 51.80.

Considering she is a freshman, this was indoor on a 200m track which is slower, and after that amazing leg it really looked like she had more at the end I think she has a great shot at making the team.

Good luck to her that was an amazing run. For me, 4x4 is easily the most exciting race in track.

Holy. Crap. That was blazing. I can’t imagine being one of the other team’s anchor legs knowing the inevitability of what was about to go down. I imagine it’s a bit like being stranded on a surfboard and hearing jaws music playing.

As a former high school quarter miler (yes, back in the 70s we still ran the 440yd dash rather than 400 meters) I fully appreciate what she pulled off.

Awesome running. Thanks for sharing. Glad it's getting some social media love, personally I found the media circus around the Sara Fuller kick annoying, there are plenty women athletes doing way more impressive athletic feats than 30 yard kickoffs and extra point kicks... Like running a 400 in under 52 seconds.

Wow!  That was impressive! Thanks for posting.  Totally outclassed the other anchor leg runners.  So smooth and strong, can’t believe she’s only a freshman.

She blew by the first runner like she was standing still.

This reminds me that there is a kid at U of D Jesuit right now- Jaiden Reed. He is a sophomore, but I saw him at the CYO finals a couple of years ago and he was running faster then in 8th grade than some of the guys on U of M’s track team. Broke the 34 year CYO record in the 100m. I certainly hope Michigan has their eye on him.

I had a HS teammate do something like this, down 50 yards to begin the anchor leg of the 4x440 against our archrivals. We needed the relay victory in this final event to win the meet, and he ran a sub 50 split to win. But considering the level of competition, his feat pales in comparison to Ziyah's! Videos like this get my heart pumping. Go blazingly Blue, ZH, and thank you for coming to Michigan!
