Players approaching statistical milestones

I was just perusing Sports Reference, which has compiled stats for this year's football team. There are a number of players approaching various statistical milestones this season, so I figured I would highlight them for the benefit of the masses here:

Passing

  • McNamara currently has 1,883 passing yards. Good chance he'll eclipse 2,000 yards against Maryland.
  • Unfortunately, it doesn't appear likely that he'll cross any other notable thresholds this year. At 12 TDs, I doubt he'll reach 20 for the year. He has 149 completions, so it's also unlikely he'll reach 200 for the season.

Rushing

  • This is widely known, but Haskins has 985 rushing yards. Good chance he'll cross 1,000 yards against Maryland!
  • Haskins also currently has 196 rushing attempts this season. Good chance he'll cross 200 attempts against Maryland as well.
  • Corum currently has 778 rushing yards. If he is able to return for the OSU game, he'll have a puncher's chance at reaching 1,000 for the season as well (assuming he plays against OSU, and a bowl game).

Receiving

  • Unfortunately, due to passing volume, there aren't any notable receiving milestones in reach. CJ already has over 500 yards, but he's highly unlikely to reach 1,000.
  • Erick All currently has 319 receiving yards, so there's a decent chance he'll reach 500 yards after OSU.

Defense

  • Most notably, Aidan Hutchinson currently has 9 sacks. One more and he will join Ojabo with 10.
  • Ojabo currently has 5 forced fumbles - I don't have a source right now, but I believe I read that has him tied for the all-time Michigan record for forced fumbles in a season.

Was really hoping for 2 - 1,000 yard backs, so hopefully Corum is healthy and productive for the OSU and future games.

Also, looking forward, would feel better about next year if Donovan Edwards has a breakout (100+ yds??) game before the season is over....seems like Maryland is the best chance for that!

Yeah I was really hoping both Corum and Haskins could hit 1,000, which is still slightly possible, but Corum would need a Biakabutuka-versus-Ohio State kinda game (which would be fucking awesome).

Considering we've had 2 1,000 yard rushers since 2011 (Toussaint & Higdon), doing it twice in 1 season would be hella impressive.

Also, a big team record of note. David Bowens single season sack record of 12 is within striking distance for both Ojabo (10) & Hutchinson (9).

Would be great to see them both break the record next weekend!

Um... if we're hypotheticalling Cade into a 5th game, that only happens in one scenario. I'm willing to go nuts with the hypothetical and say that Cade exceeds his average outcome if he gets there.  That's just me though, I'm craaazy.

It is a good feeling that it seems we actually have a well rounded team.  And since we have 5 games left in the season, I believe all the records will be broken.  Go Blue!

Would love a 300 yard rushing,.300 yard passing, 4 passing TDs, 5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles against OSU, but will settle for 13-12 victory. Make the 16-1 record against them into 16-2. That is the only record I am sure everyone cares about at this point.
