Happy New Year! We had a little bit of interest for the UFC 194 thread, so I figured I would carry on the tradition. If you're not a ufc fan, tell me what you're drinking! Pretty decent card tonight. I have Robbie, Stipe, Tumenov and Ortega. My two favorite bets are Dustin Poirier +160 and Justine Kish -210. Let's make some money tonight! Who ya got?? I'm drinking some left over Miller Lite and Bud Light Lime

I hate all the ads and the picture cutting out. Also, the picture quality is often annoying. Although I did find a stream on Firstrowsports that was pretty good once.

Sticking with water tonight, mainly because I have to do that.

As for television, going with TCU / Oregon here while everyone else cuddles up in front of whatever is on DVD or Roku on different TVs throughout the house.

As for the play that led to that TCU 4th down, it looked like the QB was just barely into his motion when he was taken down, so I agree with the call.

Man I went 6-0. Made $1200. But I thought Condit should have won that fight on the cards. Rob Def did more damage, but he got outworked. I was pleasantly surprised with that decision. I'll take it

Hell of a fight. Round 5 was one of the best rounds of all time. Thought lawler won 48-47. Had him winning rounds 2,3,5.

Rob did more damage, but he only clearly won round 5. I bet him and was happy with the decision, but I don't know how he won on the cards. I'll take it, but Condit deserved the win. Good fight either way

Definitely room for argument for round three but I don't see how condit has a case for round two. He got dropped and all of his offensive output was getting picked off on the way in. Lawler out worked him round 2. Also in the unified rules damaging harder blows are given first priority over volume. You can throw ten strikes that don't do anything and lose because the other three three damaging heavy blows. Condit fought the same way he did against Diaz trying to win with volume.
