OT Detroit Comedian John Witherspoon dies at age 77
I completely forgot he was from Detroit. Anyone who was a fan of Urban comedy from the 90s era will remember Witherspoon's roles in the Friday movies with Ice Cube. I used to really like his role in Boomerang when he played the father of (Detroiter) David Alan Grier.

This guy rules - a true legend. One of the funniest dudes on Earth. He was great in Friday and even on Black Jesus which was a great and underrated and very weird show. RIP.
