Meh.
This is the least of our problems.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:32 AM ^
Problems for now. But opportunities. IF we are willing to attack them.
We control our own destiny. Just call the play. Just make the read. Just execute. Just do it again. And again. And again. Until we've won the game. And the next. And the next.
Until we've beaten OSU at home and Wisconsin in Indianapolis and are in the CFP riding a tsunami of momentum. But not counting on momentum. Just executing the next play.
Until we win it all.
I don't care about what Army is doing. I care about what we are going to do.

Sorry to break it to you but we’re not beating Ohio state, not beating penn state, and are damn sure not going to the big ten championship. What are you smoking? Have you not watched Michigan play this year? This team can’t win on the road vs anyone with a pulse. I’d love to be completely wrong about this team, but I’ve seen enough to know that this season won’t end well.
October 13th, 2019 at 8:50 AM ^
Every team we’ve beaten this year lost yesterday, that may be a problem.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:04 AM ^
We aren’t much better. This team is completely mediocre on a good day.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:04 AM ^
Turns out, so are we.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:06 AM ^
Maybe this would matter if we lost, but we didn't. Everyone has already forgotten about this game. Win next week and everyone shuts up for awhile. We have so many chances for big wins the rest of the season, please let us win even one or two of them
October 13th, 2019 at 12:13 AM ^
Who or what is supposed to "let us win"?
October 13th, 2019 at 12:16 AM ^
Probably bad in-game coaching from our opponents. I think Kelly is still winless in AA and Frames has only beat us once, so fingers crossed for others teams being incompetent
October 13th, 2019 at 9:47 AM ^
That is a dumbass question.
October 13th, 2019 at 6:16 AM ^
Right. We have enough evidence already. We don't need the Army game to judge how good we are. And if we beat a good Penn State team on the road at night, no one will give a shit about a game we struggled in.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:08 AM ^
The bigger concern is whether the nation is really safe anymore with this kind of military incompetence
October 13th, 2019 at 12:14 AM ^
It doesn't matter as long as the Saudi's are willing to pay for it.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:43 AM ^
This is very true
October 13th, 2019 at 12:51 AM ^
America has nothing to fear.
October 13th, 2019 at 11:58 AM ^
What about fear itself?
What about other nations? I mean the ones that trusted us but didn’t help us invade Normandy.
October 13th, 2019 at 9:42 AM ^
Being relatively new here, I’m going to assume that’s sarcasm.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:13 AM ^
Everyone said they'd go 11-1
October 13th, 2019 at 12:18 AM ^
Remember when MTSU was supposed to be legit too? Turns out we just suck.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:26 AM ^
Lol. Whatever.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:19 AM ^
This news didn’t put me further into the BPONE. This team isn’t very good this year.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:24 AM ^
The Army game won't matter if we finish 11-1 and win the B1G championship. But Army's struggles do scuff up the luster that we have.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:42 AM ^
What have you seen that gives you any idea we have a chance at 11-1? Have you watched the games?
October 13th, 2019 at 7:46 AM ^
Lol at UM having any luster, particularly after that Army game and the Wisconsin game.
October 13th, 2019 at 1:02 AM ^
I have been perusing the rcmb board. Their threads and comments are a mirror image of this board. Same complaints same suggestions on what to do next. We pay our staff between 10 and 12 million dollars for a product that frustrates the hell out of us. They don’t like their staff and are angry that Groucho Mark will receive a 4.3 million retention bonus in January. College football has become a money grubbing fraud with the schools, athletic departments, coaches, hanger-ons, and soon the players to be competing for the ultimate championship the TV money.
.
October 13th, 2019 at 1:06 AM ^
It's because we exposed Army's weaknesses and provided a blueprint to beat them?
Yeah, that's what it was.
obviously /s
Edit for obvious thongs are obvious.
October 13th, 2019 at 2:38 AM ^
If our thongs weren’t so obvious we would have beaten Army in regulation.
October 13th, 2019 at 1:40 AM ^
Michigan State called 9-1-2 again vs. Wisconsin.
October 13th, 2019 at 1:50 AM ^
some people were convinced Army was top 25 team... even with the 128th toughest schedule in the country going into the season as ranked by Phil Steele.
no... Michigan's issues on offense are their issues, not because Army was some kind of defensive juggernaut...it was obvious to any objective observer that watched that game.
now its clear to everyone
October 13th, 2019 at 7:32 AM ^
This isn't super relevant to the larger point you're making that Michigan sucks and should be shot into the moon and we are all going to die alone and eaten by worms, but Tulane is 5-1 with only a loss to Auburn (which was reasonably close). They are definitely not a crap team.
WKU maybe, but I don't know enough about them.
Anyway, back the usual bitching after a...win?
October 13th, 2019 at 7:52 AM ^
Tulane isn't exactly a crap team this year.
October 13th, 2019 at 8:43 AM ^
They got up for the Michigan game. We played awful. End of story. Nothing to see here.
October 13th, 2019 at 10:27 AM ^
Yeah. I mean, I really don't care about this. Michigan performed badly that day, but won the football game
I know, I know, "Michigan should have lost this game" that they won. I don't really understand that logic, but I get that people think that.
I'm curious if anything happened that we don't know about. Did Army suffer some major injury or injuries since Michigan played them? The national media wouldn't be discussing this, as no one outside of the Michigan and Army fan base really cares. I just wonder if something changed. If not, OK.
October 13th, 2019 at 1:40 PM ^
The “fans” that say “they should have lost to Army and Illinois” are the same ones that will make a homophonic remark vis a vis you and Harbaugh if you suggest that 0-4 against OSU is not fully indicative of Michigan’s performance in big games under Harbaugh.
So I wouldn’t pay them much mind. The team deserves better offensive coaching, but the program also deserves better fans.

October 13th, 2019 at 11:40 AM ^
This should shut up the idiots that claim army was a good team
October 13th, 2019 at 1:51 PM ^
Yeah you sure showed those idiots, how dare they look for a reason to be optimistic about the team they cheer for.
You must have a great bedside manner.
October 13th, 2019 at 12:53 PM ^
Get over it...
