MGoDrone: Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue, and a Video!
Hi all! Your friendly MGoEyeInTheSky here for another update!
Last time I showcased some drone shots from Wisconsin, Bowling Green, Toledo, and a hazy shot of Purdue.
On my latest travels to Minnesota and Indiana, I also stopped by Purdue again to get a better shot on a not-raining day.

The sunset in Minneapolis just happened to line up perfectly with TCF Bank Stadium and downtown.
A not-crappy-rainy shot of Purdue!
Indiana's Memorial Stadium:

BONUS
Since this weekend, I think a drone shot of Crisler is appropriate!
I also made a video montage of all the stadiums I've flown at, shot to the tune of some Michigan Marching Band:

(Sorry, been a user here far too long to not learn how to embed).
I've appropriately changed my Twitter handle to MGoDrone where I post lots of drone and Michigan stuff.
This will conclude a lot of my sports traveling for the season but I should be back in the Fall (assuming my drone doesn't get damaged beyond repair).

Anyone with an architecture background explain to me why the "Horseshoe" design is so popular?
Why not just finish the bowl the whole way around if you get what I'm saying..

to see how much nicer michigan stadium looks from the air than other big ten stadiums.

The only one comparable from the air is ND.

our design. i think yost was the one who permitted that, but i would defer to WD for any such michigan trivia.

Yes, Yost gave them the plans to build a knock off Michigan Stadium.
Notre Dame's fight song was also written after a loss to Michigan (and was inspired from The Victors). Plus there was UM teaching them the game of football in 1888.
Also, fuck Notre Dame.

Notre Dame is little brother.

Seriously, do you need to get permission to fly the drone over the stadiums?

Neyland would be an awesome stadium to do a montage of from the air.

Not in the foreseeable future, unfortunately. SEC country is a bit far and it's difficult to get a drone on an airplane. LiPo batteries don't do well going through security.

Those are some incredible shots, especially enjoyed the video!
Have you done any shots of MLB and/or NFL Stadiums? Or do Professional franchises frown upon such things?
