META: Deleting Images
Hey all - in anticipation of the new season, I've been looking to replace some of the images I've already used and uploaded. When I have gone to delete those images, however, I get the following error.
A search didn't reveal any discussion of the issue before. Has anyone encountered this and know the solution?

As a follow up - the error states that the image is being used by another application. Didn't have space to upload the image of the error.

He is trying to delete images so he has space for more images. He needs help, but cannot upload the image of the error he is getting because he has no space for additional images. This is a classic conundrum. He is caught in an infinite image regress...

Hey OP - I just tried and it worked fine. Dunno - may be a browser issue or maybe the Moms know - i doubt it's been a common question, so I'm curious to see what they say.

For what it's worth, I've been able to delete some images over time, but not others. I've put off the issue so long as I've been able to upload new images, but I've finally hit the end of that particular road.

Ditto, man, I have the exact same experience. I just wrote it off to my typical low expectations of the OS that runs this site. Something buggy that needs a work-around is what this place is all about.

This is exactly what I have experienced. I haven't run out of space so it hadn't been an issue.

I've had the same issue.... the image is stored somewhere on your hard drive and until its deleted from there, you can't delete it from your image file.
or so i was told. I spent a bit of time trying to find the duplicate images and delete them, to no avail.... therefore you get the same tired content from me.

Interesting - so the issue is that the image is supposedly somewhere on my hard drive rather than posted somewhere in a prior archived post on the MGoServers. I'll go searching when I have time I guess. Better than nothing. Thanks for the response.

My #1 challenge with "There are..." currently. If that restriction on deleting photos that are too recent isn't lifted at some point here, I might run out of space soon and not be able to make the posts...
