I don't think Zaire is quite good enough for Michigan and Bronny is probably too good (I think he'll go straight to the pros, or to Duke if he goes to college)

I would hardly classify Fran Fraschilla as an insider. This is also just speculation based on tweets made by Wade and LeBron ... absolutely nothing to indicate their sons are considering Michigan. Classic clickbait with no content.

I'm not trying to be a hater, but we cannot allow ourselves to be excited about something that at this time seems like a pipe dream. Of course, it would be cool if it worked out. I'm guessing by the time Bronny, who is 14, gets to college age, the draft will have changed to allow him to enter right out of high school. Zaire is 17, and I'm guessing wouldn't stay more than a year, if he's that good at basketball.  Plus, with the difference in age it looks like Zaire would be at least a Junior before Bronny was a Freshman....? So this whole thing doesn't really make sense, click-bait at it's finest!

Edit: Zaire would be a Senior......

Zaire Wade will probably not be a top-100 prospect so Michigan would be doing him a favor by offering. LeBron James' son is too young at this time, and given LeBron's view of the NCAA if his son is good enough to play professionally, he could skip college altogether. One-and-done is most likely gone by 2022.

If Bronny is half as good as his dad, he'll never even go to college. Or even if he does, he'll be with your usual suspects (Duke, Kentucky, UNC or Kansas).

Will never fault the man for trying, but if Juwan proves to be any good here, by the time Bronny is of college age, I'd be surprised if Juwan isn't already back in the pros.

Jaden signed a non-binding letter of financial aid to UW, not an LOI, so theoretically he could change his mind.

I don't expect to get him, but I'm sure Juwan will take a shot at it.

Coach Howard is going to be a beast on the recruiting trail. Let’s not forget that he already successfully recruited the #1, #6, #9 and #84 players in the country when he was a senior in HIGH SCHOOL! As a successful college and pro player and coach, he’s going to tear it up. He has an enthusiasm and drive that are contagious.

And when C Webb talked about how he would trust Juwan to mentor and coach his own son in college, I believe he echoes sentiments of a lot of other pro basketball guys like Wade and Lebron. Lebron may be an OSU fan but I bet he cares more about who will be influencing and mentoring his son at college. I can totally see him choosing Howard to do this because of the obvious respect that exists between the two of them.

Serious question.  If you don't think Howard is good enough to coach the Lakers why would you let him coach your son?

Did LBJ say that, or did he just prefer someone else over Howard?

He could have been fine with Howard or Vogel as coach but preferred Vogel.

And if my son were a top recruit, I would send him to OSU before I sent him to play for a tiny, angry rape enabler at a mediocre school in East Lansing.

Spare us the fake concern and head back to RCMB.

Why so angry? Serious question.  Why would James send his kid to a school that is supposedly a top 20 program but only paying their coach the 11th highest salary out of 13 in the B1G? I mean if you think that little of your coach, what do you think of the kids you recruit.

Zaire Wade isn't even ranked as a recruit, and there is a lot of coaching to learn before getting a prized 2023 recruit. Further, it'd be better to worry about recruiting a former head coach to be an assistant here to mentor Howard as a program CEO. And, even Beilein was having a difficult time filling up the roster after the 2 early-entry departures. So, time spent on that task is more worthwhile. There's a lot of work to get done to ensure that the 2019-20 season is not wasted in too much on the job training.
