Hello: Raheem Anderson
Heem Has Risen
(I'm sorry)
4* OC from Cass Tech

I’m in favor of all OL recruiting classes.
10 OL, 1 back, let’s see them try defend all those gaps. Bring it.
Agreed. We should take JJ McCarthy, Donovan Edwards, and 23 Guards.
I thought Ed Warinner couldn't recruit? Holy smoke he is putting in work.
You never have to worry about your tackles if they’re out beyond the hashes.
If we were doing this on both sides of the ball I'd have no doubt that championships are in our future
HA 10 OL.... wait. Could that actually work?
I mean, you could do it. The two end Guards would be eligible receivers as well. Would it work? Maybe for a few yards at a time. Which would work against old school teams but won’t put up the requisite 40+ points it takes to win these days.
Fades!

Hayes always was a TE recruit
Yay snagged a good one from a PSU pipeline!
I don’t follow recruiting super closely. Has Penn State being doing well at Cass?
PSU just got the twin King brothers out of Cass on Friday. They have been doing quite well in Michigan/Detroit for the past few years but -with a few exceptions- they haven’t really been beating M for the (very) top targets. Ergo this is probably hurting MSU more than Michigan.
(I would place Lance Dixon in the top M target/loss category and Buddin in 2021 will be if PSU gets him. Enzo Jennings in ‘20 and the King’s and Reed in ‘21 weren’t top priorities for M Imo. Also I don’t count Hamler as a miss in recruiting -as Hamilton’s offense didn’t want a player like him - I count that as a miss in evaluation by the staff.)
Welcome Raheem!
Agreed. Best of luck Raheem!
Get that UM degree and look forward to wearing the Winged helmet with pride!
But but but Michigan is losing every person from the state of Michigan
What a blessing!!! Harbaugh cannot recruit Michigan. He never lands the ones in-state. Did I do that right? I guarantee that you never see DAZ’INN5 on this post.
GO BLUE!!!
Sort of young for an offensive coordinator, but 4*s is 4*s.
Good recruiting news exclusively on the offensive side of the ball continues
Dude plays with an edge I like it.
Nice get. OLine looking nice. Now land some DTs. Happy Easter to all!
I thought the best players in Michigan go to penn state?
Nice pun. Totally apropos. Today.
So we have two 4* Centers in the class now. Good problem to have.
I think Crippen can play guard too, while Anderson seems more to be a center exclusively
If we get Kendall, Crippen, Anderson, El-Haddi, Spindler, AND Davidkov that would be stupid good

Wisconsin like redshirts for everyone!!!
See you in a couple years (tents fingers)
Could it be possible for Spindler or Anderson to play dtackle? And this isnt the usual snark post about no dline. I know Spindler plays both sides and was thinking Anderson could too. We also need to try our best to get back in with Damon Payne and Tywone Malone.
Spindler could play DT. Anderson, not so much.
Payne is a lost cause.
What info, if any, do you have on Damon Payne, Magnus? Given he's the best player in the state, he'd be an absolutely massive get. Is UM not recruiting him as hard, is he just not interested in UM, etc.?
Not interested in Michigan. Word is he’s looking to go south.
Please tell me you are talking about Bama or Clemson or Georgia, and not that sewer in Columbus.
The head coach at Belleville doesn't like Michigan, and a lot of kids there follow suit. Some kids still plow ahead and have an affinity for Michigan (such as Andre Seldon), but it's a tough place to recruit. Payne is not interested.
I thought the head coach not liking Michigan turned out to be a myth?
The coach and also Sam Webb have tried to say it's a myth, but where there's smoke, there's fire especially given how much talent they've produced recently and how few of those players have gone to Michigan. If we lose out on Jamari Buddin, that'll be another one. I think Seldon is the only Belleville kid we've gotten since Harbaugh has been coach
Yeah that’s what I’m referring to. I thought Sam was trying to have him on the show more often but I haven’t listened to one of his recruiting roundups in a long time
the coach doesn’t like Michigan AND he has 5 star guys. Bad combo
It's not a myth at all. There's some PR going on trying to smooth things over and pretend nothing's wrong, but it's not fixed.

Where did Crowell come from? Did he grow up locally? Did he play college ball?
I know he was with Wilcher at Cass and it sounds like they remain close friends which kind of makes the separation with UofM a bit perplexing.
I have no respect for coaches who steer their kids towards or away from schools, even when it benefits Michigan. As a coach your players’ welfare should come first. According to Webb Ron Bellamy will tell Michigan coaches when he’s got a player and will make sure they know where they stand but otherwise does not seek to influence his kids. Seems like a great way to approach it
Crowell (Former Cass DC) criticized Zordich for publicly criticizing Lavert Hill (One of his former players) a few springs ago—said he didn’t know any other coach who’d do that around the nation. So yeah, he probably has held some distrust against the staff for that, as he should. I wouldn’t want my former players to be shamed by their college coaches.
Hill played at MLK not Cass Tech.
April 12th, 2020 at 10:14 PM ^
This was a nice attempt, but Hill transferred in high school from Cass Tech to King, where he finished his high school career.
Hill graduated from King, but he definitely went to Cass.
Big pickup, much needed.
Hell yeah!
No. 3 center in the class, per the 247Sports Composite.
Steve Lorenz put a nice article together on him on The Michigan Insider.
For those in the know, would this hurt our chances with Kendall or Spindler?
Let’s go bud! Congrats to Raheem!
