!!!!!!!!
Muppets!
My first thought too.
LIVE BLOG CURSE IS REAL.
now it makes sense why we lost 9 games in football this year.
FINALLY!!!
WE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN BELIEVE IN SECULARISM. PERHAPS IF ONE DID NOT BELIEVE IN ONE TRUE GOD THEY MIGHT SAY SING THE PRAISES OF RANDOMNESS
Beat me to it. Fuck Yeah.
this is a tourney team.
Let's go dancing, baby.
I think we can all agree that this would not have been possible had Brian hosted a liveblog.
GO BLUE! One more win in the BTT and we're golden!
More like Cover it Sucks!
/lol
BREAK OUT YOUR DANCIN' SHOES!!!!
ultra horns
Someone reassure me that we are in even if we lay a turd in the B10 tourney.
nope.
that's cuz the rest of the big ten is doing too well.
That didn't reassure me.
See me before you have to answer the "Does this dress make me look fat?" question.
sorry mooseman, but maybe they'll play iowa or something in the 1st round. that's not a bad 1st round opponent eh?
We will most likely be seeded 7th and play Iowa in the first round, which is highly winnable. We blew them out in Ann Arbor and needed some comically bad late-game officiating to lose in overtime in Iowa City.
It could be a roll of the dice if we lose the opener. I don't see these guys bowing out in round 1, though. They've got a lot of heart.
That timeout was priceless, especially when they showed the crowd shots. All the guys were clutching their heads in mind-bending frustration, and all the girls were screaming in joy.
But seriously, someone should make sure Tubby doesn't throw himself off of a bridge tonight. That was harsh.
we honored the "curse of the live blog"-haha, whatever it takes-what a year. Michigan Basketball is back!
Finally we return to the promised land after 11 years of wandering in the desert; I'm absolutely ecstatic right now. Go Blue !!!!!!!!!
I'm going to wait for the official announcement that we're in before I start celebrating.
Now the NCAA's. Well, first Indy. But this has to help Michigan's confidence. They got the road win monkey off their back. The team is growing up. Also think it was brilliant to sit Sims long enough to keep him 100%, strength wise, and out of foul trouble.
This game can only help recruiting. Every HS kid wants to be in the tourney.
Four key factors:
1) The three is dropping,
2) FT% is up,
3) hold onto the ball, and
4) Games are called reasonably fairly (i.e., the refs cut out the hacking in the paint,) then
Michigan can compete against most any team out there. And for future years, if we add one star big man, along with the role players Beilein regularly recruits, we'll go far often.
I don't know how the bracketologists seed Michigan, but if we begin play in a region with no No. 1 seeds, we could potentially win two games and make it to the sweet 16. I can't see winning a third game in the tourney, however.
you are an optimistic dude. but that's not a bad thing.
