ESPN Airing the 2000 Orange Bowl at 8 PM EST
For those looking for some form of sports to watch, ESPN will be airing several classic college football games today. Their prime-time 8 PM game tonight is the 2000 Orange Bowl where Tom Brady showed out and Michigan came back to win in OT.
Here's a link that also shows what other games they're airing today:
Brady was magic when Carr let him. Unfortunately, that usually only happened when Michigan was down multiple scores.
Thanks - will add to DVR.
FYI, it will be airing on ESPNU, not the main ESPN network.
What a great game. Alabama wasn’t what they are now but this game had it all.
On a related but sadder note, did anyone know this is the one of only 7 or 8 games where Michigan has beat a Top 15 team away from Home this century? Yikes.
I was there and it is still the most fun I've ever had attending a bowl game in person (of course the others involved losses so that's part of it).
I’m watching now and hate to admit.
I don’t know any of these dudes ?♂️
Hope this isn't the alternate ending version.
So we're going back 20yrs to revel in glory... nice.
Down early in the 2nd and committing penalties.
Classic Michigan.
Deboard really liked screens.
Brady was the difference in the game. When they actually started letting him throw, that is. There were also a number of drops by his receivers.
You could see Tom Brady becoming Tom Brady in this game.
Bama was gassed by the end of this game.
If you missed it, I watched it last week on youtube and you can too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAIi1hkl3NM
