The effects of this game
As I’m sitting here the only Michigan fan in a house full of Buckeyes all I can say is the silence is so sweet. The father in law already called it a night and went to bed, brother in law hasn’t looked or spoken to me in a few hours. One may get upset by this but, not me, this is glorious.
please know I realize this post adds nothing to the discussions but I just had to get it off my chest. This has been the sweetest day I’ve had with my in-laws in such a long time. Feels good.

Mike, enjoy every second of it my man. It has been a long time coming. Go blue.

I agree, enjoy it Mike. You’ve had to put up with a lot of Buckeye crap for years! To be honest, I don’t know how you did it. I would have had to go to a bar or somewhere to watch it without all those Buckeyes around.

I think the best part of the whole afternoon as the clock hit :00, was that my father in law told me to be a “good winner”. I told him I’ve put up with his back handed comments long enough about being a Michigan fan and would soak this one in and followed it up with a great to be a Michigan Wolverine chant. Truly euphoric.

Best thing is you get to enjoy it and make your own snide comments for the next year!

I only have one question - have people in Ohio started buying Michigan jerseys yet? That is when things will have really changed
sorry if this meme is too dated

Revel in it, man. Manspread on the sofa. Eat everything in the fridge. Fart openly.
It's all yours now.

This may be my favorite comment of all time. Fuck em.

The effects are that I had to inform my doctor that my erection lasted more than 4 hours.

Also, muse loudly to yourself whether Hassan is spelled with 2 s 's or 1.

While they are sleeping, I would go into their laundry room and drag your scrotum over all their clean clothes. Especially any pillowcases.

So creepy, but I laughed.

Today, tomorrow you live like a king. Those peasants should bow to you when they enter the room.

If you're at home just walk around with your dick out. They'll get the message

Wear it as a wrist watch.

You need to start calling penalties at breakfast tomorrow.
"That's a 15 yard penalty for going to bed early. 1st and 10 Michigan!"

Ask them if they want to come over to your house next week to watch the B1G championship game!
November 27th, 2021 at 9:13 PM ^
I told them they were invited. I got a no thanks even though I’ve also come down to watch the bucks to keep them happy.

I can totally relate. My father-in-law is a real fart-knocker regarding his commentary on the series. Stale jokes, no real knowledge of either team, thinking he's the smartest guy in the room. Well guess what, pal? I'm sleeping with your daughter and your grandson has never seen UM lose to osu.

Love it. Same goes for his grand kids. The real kick in the pants was I got my oldest “2 years old” to say GO Blue several times today.

outstanding. Kids like to repeat funny words. Teach him "Biakabutuka, Grandpa"

Kevin13 has a grand idea. I share your situation in that I am surrounded, like really surrounded by MSU graduates (brother, daughter, son-in-law, brothers-in-law (3), 3 nephews, 2 nieces (one from each side of family.
So yes, the silence is deafening. My brother (as fine a human being as there is) sent congratulations.
So yes, everyone is invited to my house to watch the Big 10 Championship game (hate to count the chickens before they are hatched but it looks good.)

Tell the FiL you're going to celebrate tonight. With his daughter.

Ha ha. I strongly suggest you play The Victors at midnight loud and wake everyone up, while you retire to bed peacefully with a smile.

Losing sucks, but they will learn to adapt.

Same here! Started my day off at the in-laws in Columbus and I had to listen to it all. Left and came home for the game. Not a PEEP from anyone afterwards. So sweet.

It’s a terrific feeling.

My wife and in-laws are all OSU fans. It's just me and my three boys as the Michigan fans. They are good folks though. Not the type to gloat and run their mouths at all.
They invited us down for the game but I respectfully declined. The last several years I have just preferred to watch the game quietly in my own home. My boys watched it with me and cheered on Michigan the whole time, so that was really special.
Went over to the in-laws after the game and they were nice and respectful about everything. My sister-in-law even gave me a hug haha. While it was all "chill", it was nice to be the happy one for once.

My two year old said her first "Go Blue!" today! She was right there with me as I cheered my head off. Everything I did, she did. My wife gave me a "god help me" look.
