Duncan Robinson starts the summer league off strong
He had 17 pts, 5 reb, and 4 ast on over 50% shooting from the field and behind the arc. Robinson is heading into his second year of a two way deal with the Heat this year. He posted a line of 21.4 pts, 4.2 reb, 2.9 ast, and 1 stl across 33 games for Miami’s G-league affiliate Sioux Falls Skyforce last year en route to all G-league 3rd team honors. Most impressively he posted a slash line of .514/.483/.803 throughout those 33 games. Looks like he has a solid chance of making Miami’s 15 man roster to start the season.
Jordan Poole and the Warriors are about to tip off on NBA TV right now as well.
“Jordan Poole and the Warriors” is not something I ever thought after seeing him poorly cover Matt McQuaid twice this year.
Hope he makes it and fuck Matt McQuaid!
Went 0-6 from three. Yikes. Hopefully got the jitters out.
Pretty sure his 2-way contract was converted into a standard deal.
Yep, you’re right. My bad. Exciting to see that Robinson is finding a niche in the NBA.
Looking at the cavs summer league roster, I just found out MAAR is playing for them. Might be good for him to get back under Beilein's tutelage.
Step one of his master plan to reunite all his former players in Cleveland and spend the rest of year(s) in the NBA finishing his development of those guys the way he wanted. That's how annoyed he was at the one-and-dones, early departures and turnover at the college level...."We're not done having subs and water gun fights dagnabbbit."
You just made me want to buy the latest NBA 2K game... that's how I used to build teams in Madden...
Duncan has put on 14 pounds of muscle since last year's start of the G-league as he is taking seriously the challenge of defending larger forwards. See article
