Caris goes off vs. the Celtics
When it comes to UM alums in the NBA, most eyes (and Draymond's fists) have been on folks like Jordan Poole and Franz Wagner.
But don't sleep on Caris LeVert. Went off for 41 points tonight for the Cavs in an OT win vs. the Celtics, including personally outscoring Boston 11-2 in the final 3 minutes of the game. Now that's clutch.
Jaylen Brown scored 32 in a losing effort for the Celts. I'm guessing Caris was in his ear: "You should've gone to Michigan..."

Good on him!
Caris is definitely one of the guys on the 'If only' squad; those guys, that for one reason or another, did not achieve their true potential while they were here.

I guess you and I watched different Caris games. When he was healthy, he was pretty damn good as a 3 star recruit we stole from Ohio U (the bobcats). Did you not like Livers either? Pretty similar players?? One was supposed to be good.. the other turned out better than expected.

I follow Caris' career pretty closely.iwill say he has been playing pretty poorly with his fg% well under 40% even with this game. Also, don't get me started on his MPG.... I love Caris but he is a walking injury and they should not be playing him 36 mins a game

Garland will be back any day and his minutes will decrease. That team is loaded.

Yeah, unfortunately for Caris his injuries and constantly switching teams has prevented him somewhat from finding his ideal role. I actually thought his role as the beta on that Nets team was going to work out until they went for the "big 3". He's inefficient but electric so you sort of want him leading the bench mob.

Caris has had his injury issues in the NBA but I don't think he's a forgotten Wolverine in the Association. I mean, unlike some people from Michigan who are in the news, he's a starter.
You also forgot about Duncan Robinson who at least used to get a bit of attention.

I'm glad Duncan got his money.. but he's done in Miami unless there's an injury. Good for him to have a fortuitous situation in free agency as a non drafted player.

LeVert is of my favorite Michigan basketball players
I just always thought he was giving maximum effort and he seemed like a team player
Mo V is of course my favorite
