Bama's SBNation site still whining about satellite camps
I'll let the author's whining speak for itself.

Maybe my favorite part:
"Rather than bolstering the satellite camp, in fact, a measured view of the camps in light of Johnson's commitment, only shows that the loophole is a chance to lazily poach talent in contravention of a rule designed to avoid turning recruiting into a 12-month long circus."
I'm sure no SEC coach dares violate the sanctity of the dead period.
Of course the coaches don't, but I'm sure the bagmen are busy all year long. Fuck the ess eee see!
Bet he needed a thesaurus for that one
Is that what you found copacetic in?
despite the correct usage of contravention. It made my head hurt worse than the incoming freshmen board post.
They certainly aren't whining about how Bama boosters buy so many players that Saban doesn't have to recruit CB's under six feet tall.
isn't recruiting already a 12 month long circus?

with a rusty fork. They can bitch when they stop oversigning and paying players.

Mr. Erik's in depth expose on Saban's recruiting practices.
this is all that matters:
"I think it worked out great," Prattville kicker A.J. Reed said. "It was more of a fun environment. I think it was good for the players to see different coaches. I think it helped a lot of people today."

Or in MGoTerms, Troll Damn Tide?
I like how he conflated being lazy with working year round. Solid argument.
My eyes are strained from reading that abomination of a sentence.
It seems like the author's entire point comes down to this: there should be a break from recruiting.
However, these camps are (obviously) purely voluntary, so the kids are only coming because they want facetime with Harbaugh.
Therefore, the author's argument comes down to this:
HARBAUGH IS WORKING TOO HARD! IT'S NOT FAIR!
To be honest I think that's probably more of a Michigan satellite camp than a Bama one.
Right, because nothing says "lazy" like traveling to nine cities in nine days to coach thousands of young players across the country while working 12-14 hours a day in 90-degree heat.
Watching film and having the kids come to you is so much more work.
Give them a break on their poor choice of word usage. At least they didn't spell it "lasy"
I will do no such thing.
Oh, the total asswater that flows from people''s brains...
I don't know what asswater is, but it doesn't sound good.

I'm going to use it as much as possible.
Bless their hearts and fuck em.
Their own coaches don't have to travel as much.
They are trying to hang a hat on Harbaugh that really just fits their own coaches.
That kind of article makes me grateful that Brian isn't an idiot.
Agreed. But, I think there are many people who think that this writer is competent. Which is sad.
That's how I feel everytime I read DJ Byrnes.
