Title says all. 4 ⭐️ OL Avery Gach has Michigan in final four with MSU, OSU, and Wisconsin. Has visited multiple times, multiple Crystal Balls have him at Michigan, but is an MSU legacy. Hopefully he commits and starts an avalanche of commitments for football and can be a leader in his class ala JJ, Will Johnson, Jaydin Davis, and others in their respective classes.

I guess they forgot the final paragraph:

Of course, these minor infractions pale in comparison to the achievements of (jealous little brother) Michigan State.  The Spartans have been rocked by so many scandals the past 20 years that internet bandwidth prevents us from listing them all.

When I took writing classes, one thing the professor emphasized was exclusion of "presumed" knowledge... in other words, if a person was reading a political article, it could be assumed that you didn't have to specify "United States President Joe Biden" or even "President Biden." Just "Biden" would be enough for anyone reading that article.

So imagine believing you need to go into that level of detail about Michigan's NCAA troubles for anyone reading a MSU recruiting website?

Unless he loves making smores in the dumpster fire that MSU currently is, I see him wanting to be part of another Joe Moore winning O-Line at THE University of Michigan, where the cheeseburgers are utterly delicious

Has nothing to do with his recruitment but I ran into his dad this morning at breakfast. Looking forward to Friday. If anyone's going down there and you're bored, check the Parents Award. Not a lot of great athletes, but a famous photographer, writer, blogger, and a couple of singers' names are on there.

It's the scrappy award for the least talented athlete that carved out a spot in the starting lineup. Or in my case, the athlete who picked a sport that had one other guy in his class and nobody in the class behind them (hence no winner in 1999) due to the coach being a drunk who spent all of practice in a bar, so that by his senior year he was the de facto coach who'd recruited all of the sophomores and freshmen himself.

ben braden could be a decent comparison.  looks like a 30 year old playing high school ball.  maybe a little stiff compared to other recent starting guards but he has the ability to move people off the ball.  would be a nice addition

I was the sports editor of the "The Catalyst" at Farmington Hills Harrison High School (of blessed memory) in the mid '80's.

Our photographer was very talented but also very lazy.  I still have vivid memories of dragging him up and down the sidelines at Harrison's football games so that he'd be in the right position to get the best shots.
