You know, the part of me that strives to be a decent, fair human being wants to feel bad for them, but the sports fan in me just can't meet that part of me in the middle.
Yeah, how far have they fallen, but I agree with others in that all we need to ask them is when their game is on so we can watch it, even when there is no game because elimination.
Beat them in football and those smug a-holes won't even have the johnny come lately lines. The best thing about dominating MSU is that they tend to go into hiding like the fair weather fans they are.
You always look at your teams and think "hey with some luck, both teams could win it all!" and inevitably it never happens. I guess it's not surprising that both teams got here and yet at the same time it feels so surreal. Like it's so hard to get to the final four in either sport and we did it in the same year. The same day even! What a weekend

We've done it 4 times--'64, '92, '93 and this year.

Football went a combined 28-3-3 in those seasons and won the conference outright each year.
1964: Michigan went 9-1, beat Ohio State in Ohio, won the conference outright, and won the Rose Bowl.
1992: Michigan went 9-0-3, tied with Ohio State in Ohio, won the conference outright, and won the Rose Bowl.
1993: Michigan went 8-4, beat Ohio State in Ann Arbor, tied for 4th, and won our bowl game.
Our combined record was 26-5-3. Not bad but not as superduper awesome as you said (28-3-3 and a conference title won outright each season).
Damn I looked at 92 and 93 and read the results of 91 and 92. Woops.

Are the only two schools to ever do it. We have done it four times ('64, '92, '93, '18) and MSU did it twice in three years (1999, 2001) rivalry aside I think that is a pretty neat tidbit the only two schools to pull that off both reside in Michigan.
