Lacrosse Holds Off Late Rally to Beat Bellarmine
Lacrosse held off a late rally by Bellarmine to move to 2-0 on the season. Noseworthy had three goals and defenseman(!) Nick DeCaprio added one as well.
From the radio stream it sounded like Bellarmine was really hot at the end but it was too little too late. Michigan was up 7-2 late in the 3rd at one point so it was a little distressing they let them back in the game. But, they can put it behind them and get ready for Penn this Saturday.
In other news, it was a 3PM start and the attendance was only 138.
Come for the game recap but stay for this:

OOOH BOY! If that isn't a classic U MAD BRO? I don't know what is. Some clown writer for the Louisville Courier Journal got all kinds of saucy at Michigan's lacrosse managers when they decided to poke a little fun at Bellarmine's anonymity on twitter.
This dude needs to go to shit-talking school because 2018 might not be the best time to be dissing Michigan basketball if you're a Lousiville fan. You know, because of all the stuff that happened.

He clearly does. For example, the last time the Red Wings won a Stanley Cup was in 1998. Who knew?

Yeah I noticed that. How can you be a journalist and not be able to know or look up something like that? At least check wikipedia....

Should we tell him that Louisville's championship over Michigan was revoked due to a prostitution scandal? And that Pitino's last game was a second round exit at the hands of John Beilein and Michigan? Maybe there is justice in this world.

Homie typed " the Red Wings last won a Stanley Cup in 1998"
Did they have to vacate the cup titles in '02 and '08????

I walked through the stands right before the end of the first quarter and counted 80 butts in the seats. A few people left and few more arrived before halftime so maybe 100. Come out in a few weeks when its 50 deg. Beautiful facility with great site lines- very similar to the soccer stadium.

Would it be a good event to bring a toddler to? Would love to get my son to a UM game of some sort but his interest is going to go in and out every 2 minutes so it needs to be a venue where he can run around.

concrete concourse on either end of the stands with good views of the action and your progeny can hang with me since thats my post. Come after halftime when its free, if a two hour time slot is too long.

Women play lacrosse at 3 and there is a track meet 100 yds away going on all day. U of M toddler heaven. If you're cold at lacrosse go indoors and see big guys throw things, thin guys and gals run and jump, starter guns and false starts for drama, the 300 meter track literally goes under the stands and is very kid friendly.

So cool to watch the lacrosse program grow! Keep it up blue!
