Here's 1987's Muppet Family Christmas, which, low-key, is one of the best Christmas specials ever.

WHAT A GAME!
Didn't think anything could top my bagels, lox, cream cheese, onion, caper things. I was wrong!

I had red onion so I used that. Endless options as long as you have the bagel, cream cheese and lox, imo. So good. Scallions on the grocery list.

Over the past few seasons, I've started to realize I enjoy watching basketball games more than football games. I've been struggling to figure out why this is the case, because it's not like the basketball team has been that much better than the football team in their respective sports. Both have consistently been in the 2nd tier of teams, with occasional forays into the top tier (2016 football and basketball were both arguably top tier teams)
I think the reason is that the viewing experience for basketball is just night and day better than football, primarily due to the commercial breaks. In football you don't have a good sense for when they're coming, and they are always long. In basketball, they are predictable - every four minutes of game time. And the "ad hoc" timeouts, primarily used to stop runs, do not last very long (usually under a mnute and maybe 30 s or less), and are not particularly disruptive.
Any way, this was what I was thinking about when we were down 15 in the 2nd half - that is, still beats a football viewing experience. Completing the comeback and winning in OT took it to another level. That was so much fun to watch.

P.S. - A big part of this could be watching Beliein's offense. Even when we stink, the constant movement and precision is so fun to watch

Actually they have most of the time.
2008-09 - football went 3-9, basketball went 21-14 and made 2nd round of NCAAs
2009-10 - football went 5-7; basketball 15-17 (pretty bad all around)
2010-11 - football went 7-6 and lost Gator Bowl; basketball went 21-14 with a big turnaround and made 2nd round of NCAAs
2011-12 - football went 11-2 and won Sugar Bowl; basketball went 24-10, won Big Ten, lost in 1st round of NCAAs.
2012-13 - football went 8-5 and lost Outback Bowl; basketball went 31-8 and played for the national championship
2013-14 - football went 7-6 and lost BWW bowl; basketball went 28-9, won Big Ten, reached Elite Eight
2014-15 - football went 5-7 (but hired Harbaugh after!); basketball went 16-16.
2015-16 - football went 10-3 and won Citrus; basketball went 23-13 and lost in 1st round of NCAAs.
2016-17 - football went 10-3 and lost Orange Bowl; basketball went 26-12, won BTT, reached Sweet 16.

going to turn out. This team was starting to get run off the court and didn't look very good. But, they really turned things around and poured it on. Very proud of this team's effort today. Go Blue!

Exciting win and I can't wait for the piracy to begin!

I lot of free throws will be shot this week in practice. They will wear out the nets and the balls until they start hitting them.
