Aside From Air Force, All of Our 2017 Opponents Won Their Games This Week
Strength of schedule update: With the obvious exception of Air Force, all of our 2017 opponents who played games this weekend emerged victorious. That's a good thing. (MSU and Maryland had byes, and Indiana's game was canceled.)
Florida and Cincinnati both won, as did all of our future Big Ten foes who played: Purdue, Minnesota, OSU, Penn State, Wisconsin and even our main rival, Rutgers.
In fact, three weeks into the season, and Florida, Cincinnati and Air Force are all undefeated except for their games against Michigan. We need those three to keep winning.

Cincinnati @Navy, Air Force vs San Diego State, and Florida @Kentucky this week. Along with Michigan traveling to Purdue, I think we will find out a lot about Michigan after this week.

I hope all of our opponents go undefeated!
Well, except when they play us, of course.
Oh, and MSU can lose all their games as well as to us, as I hate them.
And OSU too, they can lose all of their games too, as they cheat and are the devil.
And PSU, because of that whole child rape business.
And Florida, because I still hate them from the Urban years.
And Cincy, because Luke Fickell is still a Buckeye.
And Purdue, because they beat us during the RR years.........
OK, let me rephrase this. I want Air Force to win the rest of their games, and everyone else can go 0-12...

I can't wait for the game against our main rival, Rutgers.
The War Against Rutgers rages on.

Sidenote: The more times you type or say 'Rutgers,' the less it sounds like a real word. Rutgers.

ha more like... Butt--gers!

Since there are, I'm sure, a lot of easy, tramp-y Jersey girls that go there, they should call is Slut-gers...

but it only helps if we keep winning. Onward to Purdue!

Cincy won on one of the weirdest endings to a game I've ever seen. Essentially Miami (NTM)'s coach didn't properly signal T/O and cost his team the game.
Bottom line is... Cincy is not a good team and we should not feel good about struggling against them.

Sparty with that crucial, program-defining win over BYE.

With the way their offseason went, a clean win over BYE with no suspensions or injuries should not be taken for granted.

It was actually the 1st week of the season for them before they got some teams to rearrange things. That would have been awesome. I think in 2019 they get a bye, then PSU, then a bye in like the end of October. That'll go well haha.

Going to find out a lot about how good Michigan really is, and espcially how good Purdue is this weekend. We will easily be their toughest opponent thus far, but they have every reason to be confident, and they're going to come into the game expecting to win.
I expect the defense will do it's part in making life difficult for Purdue, but the question I have is whether or not the offense will step up. With Black out and Isaac possibly out as well, they're already short-handed. I'd love to see the offense finally wake up and see this team kick Purdue's teeth in, but until I see the offense actually do it, I don't know that it happens.
I'm expecting a close game into the fourth quarter, which is dangerous against a team that has nothing to lose. I hope I'm wrong, but Purdue may already be ahead of schedule under Brohm. Either that, or Mizzou, Louisville and Ohio are just that bad.

Our defense will win or lose this game...Im slightly nervous about this game

Given the previous two weeks, if we lose this game I highly doubt it will be on the defense. If the offense can't finish drives, or has to consistently settle for field goals again, that's not a good sign against a team with a team with an up-tempo offense that has proven to be night and day from where it was last year. I'm hoping the offense doesn't put the defense in a position where they're gassed by the fourth quarter.
Don Brown is the elite of the elite, but if the defense is on the field long enough, they will get tired. And the defense's depth is not what it was last year. I just want to see the offense generate long, sustained drives that eat up clock time and result in TDs. Nothing would derail your season faster than losing to effing Purdue.

to all our oppents so when we beat them our SOS will go higher and higher which could be a deciding factor say between 4th place and 5th in the CFP..
