Michigan Mini Movie - Week 2
Week two's mini movie has been released on Michigan Football's Facebook page. It's short and sweet, and I figured I would share, because who doesn't like hype videos?

Seeing this makes me excited for the Amazon Prime series on M football. Granted there will be a reality TV aspect to it, but if parts of it look anything like this, recruits will love it.

Holy crap, that's great.
It's been 20 years since I've been to a Michigan football game in person.
There is nothing like the experience. Nothing. The best sports venue in the world. Period.

Perhaps from a nostalgia standpoint...I've been in the Shoe and felt it shake...never been to PSU, but I hear it's amazing. Bryant Denny is deafening...Tiger Stadium, LSU ...at night? It'll give you chills. There is an old school feel to Michigan, very traditional, but for those (like myself) who enjoy a more lively fanbase...there are better places to be. Compared to OSU, Bama, and LSU...Michigan Stadium is relatively quiet, even with the renovations, it doesn't compare to stadiums (in noise) that have multiple decks.

There is more to a stadium experience than just having loud rednecks spitting their Skoal on you all game.

I have some really, really fond memories of games in Michigan Stadium. I vividly recall the first time I entered the stadium back in 1975. I was overwhelmed by the size, and every part of that game -- pre-game warmups, the marching band, the run out under the banner, the action -- all glorious. I will never forget it. To me it's the finest sports venue in the world.
I have read about other places: Camp Randall, Ohio State, white out games at Penn State, LSU at night, the Gamecocks at South Carolina. I'm sure they're very good in their own ways. To their fans I am happy they have their memories and joys. College football is the best.
But the 15 year old in me remembers that game in September 1975, and nothing will ever eclipse that. Meeeeeeeeeeechigan!

Dat quality doe. Quality snobs gon' be triggered.

For best quality, watch the facebook link through the actual Michigan Football page, The Michigan Football twitter, or Ty Rogers' (team videographer). It was most likely downloaded from the original and lost resolution in the process.

The next video was entertaining too. Some air force kid was singing a song called Hey Jim Harbaugh Air Force vs Michigan. If you want a laugh, watch it.
