Michigan Basketball to host CMU on November 13
First time since 2012-13 (which Michigan won 88-73).

My poor heart :(
My alma vs my favorite sporting team.
why the hell is Central your favorite sports team?

Brent Hibbitts' older brother Blake just graduated from CMU. We narrowly avoided a Hibbitts showdown.
Would have been bigger than the much hyped Clegane Bowl
Janeau Joubert, plays for CMU

RPI-wise these are the kinds of games we should be scheduling in the non-conference. 150-175ish RPI teams instead of 300+ ones.
Only bad things can come from playing the 300+ RPI type teams. Lose-Lose situation for M.
and certainly remember the days of Chris Kaman, Dan Majerle - and even Melvin McGlaughlin and Ben Poquette - fondly. BUT with no Marcus Keene - this one is all Michigan!
Great that they are hosting CMU again.
Dropped 29 against Creighton in 2003 NCAA tournament. Ran like he had no flexibility in his spine, literally straight as a board.
Also had Kaman.
To root for your alma in a situation like basketball, where a non-conference loss wouldn't be all that catastrophic. Compare that to football when I was at the Michigan v CMU game (had a lightning storm delay), a CMU victory for all intents and purposes ends the season outside of the conference.
Carnegie Mellon. Good school.
I am a CMU alum but will be rooting for UM 100%. As a AA native my first love is UM and will root for CMU when they are not playing Michigan.
Not Furman. That type of game just hurts RPI. CMU is a legit team, but should still be an easy W
