Super-excited to announce that I'm taking over as editor of @Hokie_Haven. Check it out: https://t.co/ixyOnq6NoQ @rivals
— Tim Sullivan (@sullivti) July 4, 2016
Yes this is a promotion. Yes he was more or less let go the wolverine. Yes this is also a rivals site.
Yes.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Tim, but he is much better than Brandon Brown. Seems like a downgrade for the staff at thewolverine.
I think Brandon Justice is doing a quality job. I was thinking of canceling my membership, but I've kept it so far because of Justice.
Him and Spath were fired after Stu Coman read there company issued emails. Tim and Spath were talking crap about stu. He actually fired Brandon Brown to but Brandon was able to save his job after showing Stu he had nothing to do with what Tim and Spath were saying.
I hope he is successful. Which raises the question-what kind of money can one make as "editor of Hokie Haven"?
I have often wondered what kind of money people at any of those sites make (including The Wolverine, TMI, etc.). I have a hard time believing the sites produce enough revenue to employ multiple people full-time, but I've never dug into it much.
Interesting. Thanks for the info. I definitely think you have to love it. There's something to be said for enjoying your work.
And Spath is working for the wisconsin rivals site.
was a cheering section in Autzen stadium for their new DC.
Semi-related; if you're ever in the Princeton, NJ area, Hoagie Haven is well worth a stop.
Yuck.

I should add that I hope it's a well-deserved promotion as Tim always did put out high-quality stuff, and deserves one.
But also hopefully another promotion somewhere else is in order ASAP.
Sooooo who's left now at The Wolverine? Brandon Brown?
They hired Brandon Justice who is doing well so far
I'm interested to see who else they hire...or maybe they will just go with what they have.
I heard they were looking for another person so they could fill both spots (Spath, Sullivan), but Brandon Justice was hired at the end of May (IIRC) and no word on anyone else. They seem to be churning out a lot of content, so I don't know if another person is necessary.
John Borton (editor), Chris Balas, Brandon Brown, and Brandon Justice are the four guys working for The Wolverine right now.
Beaver, but they won't be paying him any actual money - instead paying him in "mod power" credit, meaning he can ban up to 5 users per day
No big deal. I hear we cooled on him signficantly and coaches had cut off most communication with him because they felt good about where we stood with several 5* recruitniks.

I came to MGoBlog from Varsity Blue when he shut that down. I remember him doing (The Original?) UFR's on Varsity Blue with basketball.
to be an obituary thread.
site has gone down hill the last couple of years. I finally ended my subscription with them 6-8 months ago and don't plan on ever going back. I found most of the mods on that site as being self centered, pompus asses.
